As it crashes so often I would diagnose the problem you are experiencing is due to a faulty hard drive.
Take it with you when you purchase a new one from a computer store, to ensure you purchase a compatible hard drive.

you can try to repair the windows but not always safe to use. its better to format to avoid errors on the screen.
I have purchased a Vostro
If you are running windows:
Click on START
Then SETTINGS
Then go to CONTROL PANEL.
Then POWER OPTIONS.
In the POWER OPTIONS screen you will see the timeout values for your display, hard disk, and standby.
Set them all to NEVER if that's what you want.
Then hit APPLY.
Then OK.
That should be it.

Bluetooth & sound
Generally, connecting phones via bluetooth to a laptop just allows for file transfer between the two devices. It is not to input sound from the phone through the speakers of the laptop. You would need a bluetooth audio device for that such as bluetooth speakers or headphones

i used to get that also, I wrote down windows numbers from windows sticker on the side of machine, (needed magnifying glass) and went online to windows verify, after they scan it, it came out good

ipconfig /all
and look for the wifi adapter. The entry labelled "Physical Address" is the MAC address. It will look something like 84-3A-4B-C8-E9-B7
(Your router might want it entered in the format 84:3A:4B:C8:E9:B7)
Cpu overheating
The cooling fins on the processor chip are plugged with dust. The fan may not be turning fast enough. If that's the case you'll need to replace the cooling fan

WiFi will in the laptop will connect to a wireless router or a hot spot. The laptop itself has no hot spot built in.
