Out of one or more toners. If you have removed and replaced a cartridge in error the % remaining is reset to 100%. Try to determine which color is missing in your print out (usually black), and then follow menu instructions to replace that cartridge. The ends are color coded so be sure you change the correct one. This will insure the remaining cartridges % remaining is correct.

You can either go thru the menu to functions and select the color to change or open the side door and use a screwdriver to push the spring in the slot on the left of the carts to rotate the carts to the one you want to change.

This printer of yours will definitely work fine with Windows Vista and below like XP because they have compatible printer driver for it. The reason why when you put the printer software on your CD ROM drive it gives you some error message is because the the printer software is not made to be compatible with Windows 7.
As I check this out from Konica web site they don't have any software yet that will work with Windows 7 for this printer so as of now there's no way that this printer will work with Windows 7.
Sorry to tell you the bad news about the compatibility of your printer to your new computer running Windows 7.

I know that an old unit that I used to have required me to take the toner cartridge out and role it over a few times and then reinstall it. Don't know if that will work but it's worth a try. Hope it works. Good luck.

Replace the offending transfer roller.

call to service, you must to change toner cartridge.

Press left side top cover release.Open top cover,open cartridge >open drum unite.

This is a official vista driver and it should work, see the readme file also.

The problem is not the drum.

The Magenta (RED) toner seal is defective

It is leaking magenta toner onto the paper.

The corrective action is to remove the toners and use a Metro Vacuum (high quality shop vac) to clean out the excess toner.

Cleaning should be perform in a shop or location that has Metro Vacuum to handle toner leaks.

Wear protective clothing and mask.

Insert the other toner back into the 2300DL

Purchase a compatible Toner Cartridge 1710517-007
For Minolta MagiColor 2300DL (Magenta)

Warp the defective Magenta toner and dispose it.

go back to the printer's website, support drivers, and see if they have the updated drivers ready on that site.

Not in most cases. Go to your printer preferences >color tab, and find the checkbox that says print in black only

switch the resultion to 600*600 and all is fine.

I believe on that printer, you need to use the software to change the cartridge. Assuming you're running XP, right click on the printer software icon on your tray (lower right). --- in there you'll find where to replace the cartridge.

Try "net stop spooler", then "net start spooler" from the command line/DOS prompt (Start, Run, cmd, Enter/OK). Or replace "net" with "sc" to accomplish the same thing.

My printer is printing very light........color ink cartridge is new for color but, black is getting low........what should I do.........do I have to replace black before its gone?
