That usually means there's something stuck inside the rollers of the printer. The only way to fix this, is to open the printer cover and remove the rollers to clear the object (it's usually a little piece of paper or something). If that doesn't work, then the rollers need to be completely taken apart and should be done by a professional or someone that knows what they're doing.

Sounds like a printer head problem. Take it to a shop where they normally refill printer cartridge inks, and get them to service your printer head.

all I can suggest is unplug printer,turn computer on then off.thenplug in printer and windows might see and load a windows driver

give a single command in one time, if your computer is hanging then wait for a while, then give command.it can be a problem with computer.

The fatal error code OBH on a 2300DL is not specify at all on the internet or else where to read meaning to, but from my findings, iwas a able to get a minolta service phone number which you can call to find out what the error code is all about and how to fix it.

The phone number is 1800 456 999, call the number and you will be attended to.

Try cleaning the media rollers with 409 solution. The media feed rollers become dirty after a certain amount of prints. The toner is a wax based toner so excess wax gets on them after a while. Dirty media feed rollers can also cause image shifting problems

I had what seems to be a similar problem and the issue was that the rubber "feet" that grab the paper weren't grabbing anymore. So, I constantly got a paper jam reading. I read elsewhere to wipe some glass cleaner/ammonia on the "feet" so that they become "sticky" again. When I did this, the "Feet" or rubber semi-circle parts that rotate around a metal bar then started to correctly grab the paper again and the error stopped.

I spoke to QMS about this since it happened to me. It is the registration roller in the transport unit going bad. Basically the clutch is slipping and they are seeing a lot of it on this model. The first page will slip because the clutch is sticking. , delaying the paper pickup . i also have the accordion problem which is where you are headed. this is where the clutch does not disengage when it is suppose to , causing the paper to fold.
The only solution to this is a new transport unit. It is the entire section in the back.. Looks like a bit of work to rip it out but straight forward.

I am having the same problem too. the quality of the first page look crapy too.

this only happens to the first page i believe when the machine was out of power saving. if i print more then one file at the same time, only the first page of the first file was printed one inch below.

i suspect some cleaning might be needed. hope someone have a solution for this probelm. thanks,

Open the front door and remove the toner bottle.

Look near the colour toner carts and you will see a small round hole. Jam a screwdriver in that hole and the carousel will rotate freely. Move the carousel round and remove each toner one at a time.

The Complete Procedure to Replace the Cartridge is :-

Step 1 Look at the printer's display screen to see which toner cartridge needs to be replaced. Press the arrow key pointing to the right, then press "Menu Wait" and wait until the printer tells you to proceed.
Step 2 Open the printer's front door. Locate the toner cartridge on the left side of the machine.
Step 3 Insert your finger and thumb into the two holes in the toner cartridge, then carefully pull it out of the printer.
Step 4 Remove the new toner cartridge from its box. Hold it at both ends and shake it left to right to distribute the toner powder inside evenly.
Step 5 Pull off the yellow cover on the front of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into the printer the same way you removed the old cartridge, with your finger and thumb in the two holes.
Step 6 Close the printer's door and wait as the printer calibrates the new toner cartridge.

This printer is a laser jet printer - so you will be changing the multiple toner cartridges, not ink cartridges.

Page 56 starts the steps on how to replace the toner cartridges.

The front of the printer opens to the right and exposes the toner cartridges for removal.

Somewhere on magicolor's website my husband read that the driver will be available in July 2010 for the magicolor 2300. It's what I have too. Am keeping my older computer and printing from it for the time being.
