After you print a label
I suspect the Waste Ink tank full issue. It is highly recommended to clean the Drum's waste ink tank, to do this, you'll need to disassemble the drum and remove the wasted toner. When the waste ink tank is overflown, the toner power is spreaded on the paper with the toner from the cartridge and makes the print out very bad with ink spread over the paper or splattered.
Please check the drum bar that there's no toner power stuck and make sure to gently blow them away (never touch the drum bar with your hand or any other foreign particles, since it's very sensitive). Also clean the cartridge and the fuser unit. Remove the cartridge, drum, fuser and blow through the passage with a blower so that all the accumulated toner would be cleared.
After everything is cleared and cleaned, reinstall all the components and try again. If the print quality is improved, you'll better replace the drum.
Let me know when you are done.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.
A piece of clear plastic got mixed in paper supply
Not cheaply.
This is a job for a good repair shop.
If its out of warantee, try phone the shop where you bought it and ask can you take out extended warantee, if they let you ( i have seen this done many times) take it out and then claim
Dear all,
When I try to
I fixed the problem with the machine not grabbing the paper.....I simply opened the main lid and then reached in and pulled out the triangular insert (DRUM?) and then when you look inside all the way to the bottom....you will see the rubber tongue that actually grabs the paper.....more than likely it will be dried out or dirty. If you clean it VERY carefully with a soft moist towelette maybe very little soap....it should clean back to grabbing again...of course I went another step forward and put Take Hold fingertip grip and massaged it into the rubber.......been working great ever since. Thicker stock I have to help with my finger.....but all regular stock should work just fine.....
White strip on print
I had the same problem and I found that the roller had a small chip in it that would not cover with ink. Check the rollers and see if you can see or feel a dent or chip.
NEW DRUM CARTIDGE STARTED USING AFTER I BOUTH IT 1
If it is a rebuilt toner cartridge then you probably will have to replace it. If it is a new oem cartridge (also try it if it is a rebuilt) take it out and ly shake it side to side. Not too hard as you could end up covered in toner. The idea is to break loose and then redistribute the toner powder evenly. Then reinsert and see if that clears your error.
Some printers don't actually measure the level of toner they count pages. So if you print things differantly than what it expects or use rebuilt carts with more toner it thorws that out. Then the only way is to replace the cartridge with a good one to reset the count.
After I print something, one side of the paper has
a) check that the "skin" on the fuser isn't damaged.
b) if the rear of the paper has the dots then try using a different drum unit
c) clean the printer with a vacuum, some printers are notorious for being messy.
d) clean the i) image transfer roller if its a laserjet ii) waste ink sponges/ tanks if its an inkjet.
Colors are not what they are supposedto be.
could be conductivity. check the copper contacts on the left hand side of the cartridges and where they contact on the printer (and possibly on the drum unit as well.)
Shine them up nicely and that should help and if not at least you can rule that out.

Magicolor 2430 DL Fatal Error
Hello,
I advice you power off the magicolor 2430 DL and power on after few minutes, while the magicolor 2430 DL is loading or booting, pull out the plug from the AC outlet and wait for minutes before plugging it back and power on, if the problem still per, press the stop button for about 5 seconds and release, see what happens, if it fix the problem.
Let me no what happens.
Take care.
I get several vertical white lines in my prints.
Do you have enough ink in your printer? This can be a problem. A faulty drum/roller could also be a cause which in that case will need to be replaced. Since you have done your part i guess the rest should be handeld by an expert personally.
good luck.
Just installed printer and drivers via a network
I presume that the IP Address in the instruction is just an example IP Address. I don't know if your printer is connected to a router or to a Hub or Switch, but your printer's IP Address should depend on the device that provides the IP Address and the example is router. The first 3 octet of the Printer should be the same as the router's. So the setup should be router->printer then router->computer.
