Printers do internal house chores prior to getting ready to print. so something is not getting done and the printer is waiting for that chore to get done they don't always give codes saying something is wrong. the transfer roller is a foam roller that transfers the toner onto the paper. It will be visible with toner removed, a little wider than a piece of paper, and about the thickness of a roll of quarters. I don't know how to physically remove it on your model, but transfer roller issues in general can be remedied by removing the transfer roller and wrapping it in packing tape until the tape comes off clean.
While you're in there, vacuum everything out for good measure; but never, ever use canned air on a laser printer.

You may have to run the cleaning and allignment functions.

Yes it does work with Windows 7. The way to install it is NOt to run the Magicolor install routine supplied with the printer. Insteda in Windows 7 start menu, devices , add printer, clik on the ADD printer option (at the top) . Windows 7 will then come up with a suggested list of printers including the 2200DL. Ignore this as iot only allows a postscript driver to be installed. Instead choose the I have disk option. get windows to look for the install disk (or install files if downloaded from the QMS site and find the .inf file. Click on this. Windows 7 will then install the up to date Windows print engine files and marry it to the dteails for the 2200Dl details and you will end up with a Windows 7 driver. This works in Windows 7 home premium and professional.
