First open the right side cover where the image unit is located. Check the two latches that latch the door ensure they are not broken, especially the rear one. Then get a paper clip and stick the clip in the small hole on the right side of the control panel it will touch a switch. The control panel will go thru some screens when you see the screen with the copiers on it on the left side of the screen in the middle you will see a small "." When the dot appears touch 3 button. Then the machine will continue to the code screen. Press the Utility button you should see a new button "Maintenance Mode" touch it then touch trouble reset. The machine will again go thru screens will see the"." again do nothing. Should go ready to Copy. If the code comes back do not reset you are messing with the Fuser the Hot part. Continuing to reset without a technician looking at and or replacing it, the fuser can catch on fire and that would ruin a perfectly good day. Please help!!!! I am having

Have you had the developer and drum replaced or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST. IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum. Also try removing the toner bottle, turn off the machine with the toner bottle out and cover closed turn on the machine when it ask for toner properly place the toner bottle in the machine Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/normanj_7893313f0751935f

Reset drum minolta di 2510

Has the drum been replaced? IF not then recommend that the counter not be reset because the copier use the counters to determine voltages for certain assy. like drum and developer unit, so if you reset the counters with out replacing the parts the machine will give codes and provide bad copy quality issues. Reset code is the only way the machine knows it got new parts Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/normanj_7893313f0751935f
