Omega Rangehood not working.

Hello, One night, my (Omega) range hood also blew with a snap, crackle and pop (flash) also after pressing the light button. The PCB is charred behind the light switch/toggle thingy. The PCB is a replaceable part, but out of interest I am curious to learn if I can piggyback the light onto the fan switch. "Anonymous", at first I thought I may have authored what turned out to be your post. Many thanks.

Stovetop burner won't light after I turn on the gas.

That is normally caused by the holes in the flame spreaders being full of cooking residue. Put them all except one in a pot of cold water with a teaspoon or washing up liquid, Bring very slowly to a simmer. Watch it because it will immediately want to boil over. Remove from the heat and drop the remaining spreader in. Leave them to cool. Scrub them with a plastic post brush, making sure the holes are clean all the way through. Rinse and leave to dry. Or your gas has been turned off? Does the oven work?

Kitchen Aid convection oven doesn't reach pre-heating set temperature

There are a few other things you can try to troubleshoot this issue:
  1. Check the oven gasket: If the gasket around the oven door is worn or damaged, it could be letting heat escape from the oven, which can prevent it from reaching the desired temperature.
  2. Check the oven igniter: If the oven igniter is faulty, it may not be able to draw enough current to ignite the gas and heat the oven. You can test the igniter with a multimeter to see if it is working properly.
  3. Check the oven thermostat: The thermostat regulates the temperature inside the oven. If it is faulty, it may not be able to maintain the desired temperature. You can test the thermostat with a multimeter to see if it is working properly.
  4. Check the control board: The control board regulates the oven's heating elements and can be a source of problems if it is faulty. You can test the control board with a multimeter to see if it is working properly.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to call a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

I set my temp on my pit boss 820 to 200 and it just keeps climbing to at least 400 what needs replaced

If your Pit Boss 820 pellet grill is not maintaining the set temperature and continues to climb, there could be a few potential causes.
  1. Damaged temperature probe: The temperature probe is responsible for sending the temperature readings to the controller. If it's damaged or malfunctioning, the controller may not be able to regulate the temperature properly.
  2. Faulty controller: If the temperature probe is working correctly, the controller could be the problem. If the controller is faulty, it may not be able to read the temperature correctly and regulate the temperature properly.
  3. Airflow obstruction: Another possible cause is an obstruction in the airflow. If the airflow is restricted, it can cause the grill to overheat.
To troubleshoot this issue, start by checking the temperature probe and controller for any visible damage or signs of malfunction. If they appear to be functioning correctly, check for any obstructions in the airflow. If the issue persists, it's recommended to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further assistance.

All the lights on on our pallet stove when plugged it in

If all the lights on your pellet stove are on when you plug it in, it could be a sign of a malfunctioning control board. The control board is responsible for regulating the stove's functions, and if it is damaged or malfunctioning, it can cause the stove to behave erratically. You can try resetting the stove by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes and plugging it back in. If this does not work, you may need to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue with the control board.

While does my Elve stove top keep clicking ? I've cleaned the igniters. Turned off the power but they keep clicking

If you have cleaned the igniters on your Elve stove top and turned off the power, but they still keep clicking, there may be a few potential causes:
  1. Wetness or moisture: If any of the ignition switches, spark module, or wiring harness has gotten wet or damp, it can cause the clicking sound to continue. Try drying off the stove top and allowing it to sit for a few hours before trying again.
  2. Loose wiring: Check the wiring connections on the spark module and ignition switches to ensure they are tight and secure. Loose wiring can cause a short circuit and result in the clicking sound.
  3. Dirty burners: Even if the igniters are clean, the burners themselves may be dirty or clogged, preventing gas from flowing properly. This can cause the igniters to continue clicking in an attempt to ignite the gas. Try cleaning the burners thoroughly and see if that resolves the issue.
  4. Defective parts: If none of the above solutions work, there may be a problem with the spark module, ignition switches, or wiring harness. In this case, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
