internal blower may be out.. needs another one or exchange the one you have..

you should know it... you know those things can be traced if stolen.

check to see if it's doing MAC filtering(turned on) if so you need to add your mac address for the device

You need to know first if your device is "rooted". If it is, do not proceed. I also have an Android but it's a smaller one but I would assume things are identical if not the same. Anyways, look for the cogwheel or anyway that you can access the settings, scroll all the way down and tap on "About Device". The first thing that comes up is "Software Update". I hope that helped.

Also note that if you have only WPS or a pin for authentication to your network this will not work on a tablet. You need to enabled WEP, WPA, or WPA2 with a password
