If you have a slow connection, it may be because you now have to re-download all the game data and items instead of having them stored in your cache. If it doesn't seem to get faster after playing for a little or if you have a faster connection like cable or fiber optic, you can always try another browser. Google chrome is supposedly a bit faster for java and some other scripting languages (what the game is coded in).
If you wanted to try Google Chrome, you can download it from: www.google.com/chrome
It may take a little before you get used to it, however, it is a bit different than most other browsers.
Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.
I am going to say since I also play this game, that it's something with your browser. Try clearing the cache and cookies and try again, if this doesn't work, then try using a different browser such as Moxilla.com That's what I use and I love it,I haven't had any problems with it since. Once you try this and if it works, would you please vote for me and let me know also if this worked? Thanks and have a great day! Lori
I assume you're wondering how you get more energy in the game.
You can purchase more energy with horsehoes (you get those with real money), by spending food (60 food gets you 5 energy and 115 food gets you 10 energy), or by waiting (1 energy regained every 5 minutes). To buy energy with food or horseshoes, there is a button under your energy bar that says "Get More". Clicking that will take you to the store.

I've had that problem with Frontierville before, normally I try to do something else in the middle
of completing the mission that would be saved. So in your case, I'd probably clobber five bears, then visit some neighbors and harvest a few of my daily things like the Inn or Cabin, and plant a few crops. Then I'd refresh the game to make sure it saved my progress with the five bears and go from there. That way you're not doing nearly as much work if it ditches your progress again.
This is a problem that has plagued frontierville since the beginning. There is nothing you can do to fix this, as it is not a problem on your end. Basically, the program architecture sucks and as a result sometimes you end up losing a lot of data. Sorry about the fact that you're having trouble. Maybe contacting Zynga Help could do some good.
