This could very well just be the nature of the camera-- are you attempting to take pictures in low light? This can cause difficulty for the camera to focus. The lens is probably out of focus. Try fixing it or just getting a new camera.

The red light flashing is likely telling you the battery is flat. Did you check the manual? First check whether your speaker has a slot for SD card if it is present then plug the SD card into the slot
