I think that hacking a password is a bad idea. I would never recommend hacking anything. However if this is something you want to do there are alot of books on programming.

Honestly not much you can do but try everything to get the answer to the question. Try using capitals, spaces and anything that could be in his nickname. Think back to when you first made the account and think of what you were calling him then. Maybe you had another child since that email and so you have a new youngest. Just getting the answer to that question is the best thing you can do or try every password you know. Yahoo will most likely tell you the same thing since it is a privacy issue they can't just give you your email password, and how did you email them in the first place without an email?

call your service provider and ask if they will do that for you.

look for settings or profile and look to see if you can find where your number is set, then change it.

In Yahoo mail Upper right go to "Profile" then Settings the change.

call your cell phone provider and ask them. They can change it for you.

go to the yahoo login page and look for, "forgot password" or something like that. click on that link and follow the instructions. They'll either email you instructions how to reset if you have an alternate email address on file, or SMS you a temporary password if your phone number is on file.

throw it back unless you want to scale it and eat it.

first things first! Try to recover your password so you can login. If you have an alternate email address set with your yahoo account, they will email you instructions how to reset your password. Otherwise you're probably out of luck unless someone else comes up with a better solution.

Hello, Yes you can change your phone number. You will have too call your cust. support for you cellphone provider in order to do this.

1. I want to change my alternate email address because it belongs to a late friend. I cant have access to my account because my verification code is being sent to his email now and I don't have access to it.So I will like to change it to another email.

Yahoo sets up its accounts this way for your protection so that it is not easy for someone to hack into your mail. If you do not have that information you can only keep trying until you get it right or open a new account. There is no easy fix.
