Overload problem on Pioneer VSX-D811S 7.1 Channels Receiver
IF YOU HAVE AN OHM METER.UNPLUG UNIT.REMOVE TOP COVER AND CHECK IC604,605,606 AND IC607 PART NUMBER ON THESE ARE AEK7022. I THINK YOU WILL FIND ONE OF THOSE OPEN .IF ONE OF THESE ARE OPEN YOU WILL ALSO HAVE A DEFECTIVE OUTPUT AMP IC.IT WILL BE THE ONE THAT IS CLOSEST TO THE OPEN IC. PART NUMBER ON THE MAIN OUTPUT ICS ARE PAC011A

Will not tune any radio station, fm or am.
It is very possible the fm tuner pack is damaged from lighting,if you have voltage going to the fm tuner pack im sure your tuner is bad pioneer part number for your tuner is AXQ7231

I have a Pioneer VSX-4900S that when first turned
Hmmm, that almost sounds like a bad solder. As things heat up, they expand. When there is a bad solder (even if you can't see it) as the unit heats up and the pieces expand, the contacts at the solder point will meet and allow the circuit to complete, thus producing sound through the right channel.
Take a large magnifying glass, and with it, examine the bottom side of each of the circuit boards, looking for a solder point that is not well formed.

The right Channel is not working
hello if you are sure that you check everything, speaker,cables input signal.
if this pionner suddenly stops playing in one channel the most probable is in protection not burned so it needs service at repair shop.saludos

Pioneer VSX-D811S receiver
Make sure the positive and negative match up between the receiver and all speakers. I had the same problem and 1 out of 5 speakers had the wires backwards.
