http://www.viaarena.com/Driver/vinyl_v700b.zip
Download and install, it is multi functional:
Compatible:
vt1611
vt1612
and some sigmatel ac97 chips.
Good luck.
I've format my pc and i have lost my sound
usually, if you go to the website of which the driver came from (eg. ATi.com for Radeon graphics drivers and Logitex.co.uk for Logitex sound drivers) it will be on there. All you do is download it and install it. If the driver is not free, then theres no way past it: you will have to buy it.
Hope it helps,

Please, understand that the mother board is not the only part of a
computer. We can help you fix your computer, but we need certain
information first. (1) Name of Manufacturer and/or Computer; (2) Name
of the Model and Number; (3) the ID of *********** board. If you cannot
find it we can help you. (4) The sequence of events in detail. What was
going on, just a while before the failure, during the failure and after
the failure. Once we have all this information, we will enter it to our
mathematical model, which will become your computer, then we will
duplicate you problem. We will be giving you instructions, which you
will need to follow, precisely. Once we get what we need, it will be no time and
your computer will be fixed by you! Thank you for your consideration
and decision to use our service. My name is Constantin (arzconst is my

Problem with mother board P4VMM2 it doesn't work
Of course we can help you! The only thing is that computers are so complicated and the mother board is not the only part of them. Another difference bewteen what we had and what we have now is that the are digital and what we had before they were analog.
Now, to save us both time, I will need some information, so I can settup a mathematical model and duplicate your problem, so when we make suggestions we don't give you guesses, but facts.
I will need (1) the computer name, (2) the model number, (3) the mother board ID. Theinformation you gave us is not complete and not of use. If you need to doublecheck the numbers, you will find them, toward the bottom side of the MB, where there some white sockets (PCI). Usually they have three, but I have seen as many as five. In between these sockets is the MB ID number. You can't miss it because of the profound lettering. If it is not there, then they have moved it to the upper right corner of the MB. You will find the ID hidden around the RAM memory sockets.
We thank you for considering our service...

My P4vmm2 mobo burned my 512mb graphics card
I don't think its a matter of your motherboard or what graphics card you put in it in this instance. It seems as though you have a bad power supply. If your power supply is bad then it will fry your motherboard with too much voltage and cook your processor also. I believe that is the reason your motherboard fried and it's almost a guarantee.
*only do If all else fails and you have opened a computer up before*-I would suggest looking at the power supply and unscrewing it from the screws holding it to the case from the back and taking it out and looking at it. Just make sure you write down what connectors go to what parts on the motherboard and you will be fine. If you can do that also right down the serial number and brand name and buy a power supply of similar value and same name and rating and replace it and you should be problem free.
Hi.I am having two problems.
hi there
if you are using the small round 7 pin ps2 connectors for your mouse and keyboard remove both plugs and have a good look inside at the pins to make sure they are not bent it sounds like one of them has got bent pins and shorting out this would give you the problem with both ports
Agp slot failed
You have given me a load to carry which may be more than I can handle. At any rate, I will need the Name of the Computer, the model number, the MB ID and a narative that you will say exactly what happened. A computer has more than the mother board and there several things that we will have to check into. Please elaborate on the prevailing conditions at the time of the problem. What type of a program was the computer executing? You seen to be knowledgable and we can work together, but I will need a reconfirmation of the MB ID. Usually the information is around in between the white PCI sockets. Please look there and you cannot miss it because of the profound of the lettering. If it is not there, thenyou will have to look around the RAM sockets and the same rules about the lettering apply. Is your MB a straight Mother Board or does it have special facilities to accommodate Gaming? We thank you for considering our service...

Want to disable onboard graphics to install and use pci vga card
During the initial boot sequence (as soon as you turn your PC on), try pressing <DEL> button (or F2 or F10 - you will see info on the bottom of the screen stating something like "Press _____ (del, F2, F10) to go to Setup..."
This will take you to BIOS, main setup panel for your PC.
There you can find and option for switching your main GFX card.
Options will be something like: onboard, pci, agp. You should choose
PCI.
Try doing this after you insert your new PCI gfx in your computer.
Good luck,
Milan
