I need a manual so I can set-up board HD LED, PWR

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Index.aspx?MenuID=0&LanID=9

This is the ECS website. Try the downloads section and in the search put in your model number to see what resources they offer. If that does not get you anywhere, in a google search type the model of your motherboard there and put manual after the model number. That should let you find it.

Cheers!

P4m800pro-m v 2.0 no display troubleshooting

Power off, remove AGP (video) card, unplug hard drives, cdrom, and remove all PCI cards. Unplug everything but keyboard and power. Power on and boot.
How many beeps do you hear (one is normal)?
If none, are fans spinning?-> Is the front power light on?->
If no, then try different power supply, if that doesn't get beeps, then motherboard is probably bad.

If you DO hear beeps, make a note of how many, then power off and replace AGP card. Power on. Do you have display, or do you hear beeps? If you have display, power off, reconnect hard drive(s), power on. Still working? Then power off, replace cd-rom, and power on. Still working? Power off, replace PCI cards, and power on. Still working? Then you fixed it. ;>

if it stops working after reconnecting or reinserting something, that something is probably bad. Leave that thing out, and keep going.

Elitegroup 945GZT-M (V1.0) Motherboard,\r\nim

At the official site for your motherboard there are no drivers for Windows 7. You can take a look at this link. As far as I can see you use Ati Radeon HD5570 as VGA card. The official drivers for this particular vga for Windows 7 are here so I can't see why you are looking for motherboard's VGA drivers for Windows 7.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

The sound on my L7VMM2 motherboard is not working.

Hi,

First of all which operating system is on the machine?

Secondly have you been into the BIOS to see if the on-board has been disabled. To get into the BIOS restart the computer and press either the Del or Esc key to access the BIOS.

Also go to device manager and see if the audio has been disabled from there.

If you have installed Windows 7 or Vista then there could be a chance that the motherboard drivers are not designed for the operating system. If that's the case then no driver will work.
You would have to manually search the internet for someone who may have found a compatible driver.

Regards.

No sound device

Firstly check the volume is not low or muted on both windows and the speakers. In windows click the speaker icon in the bottom right of your screen, check the volume is turned up. Then click mixer or advanced and check that all volumes are turned up.
If using a laptop, check that the hotkey control for volume is on. You will see an audio icon on one of your ‘F’ keys, hold the Fn button located near the ctrl and press the volume function key.
Next open Device Manager from Control Panel and check there are no yellow exclamation marks on any drivers. If there are then you need a new driver.
If you are still having issues the sound card may be faulty, this is usually integrated into the motherboard. In a desktop PC you could buy a new PCI soundcard if you have a spare PCI slot in your machine.
You need to goto the manufacturers website, find their support section and there should be a list of drivers for your specific machine. Installing these should resolve your problem. I have a list of links to most manufacturers drivers on my website.
Hope this helps,

I want to test an ecs rs 482-m mother board. Where

Hi,

The power, hdd led and reset switch pins are at the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard near the BIOS battery.

The connections are fairly easy to plug up to but not knowing what case you have or the connector plugs i'm going to give you a link to download the manual for this motherboard.

Just click on the link below and when the page has loaded up click on the "Downloads" tab and download the manual. The information you need is in section 12 under the header "Front Panel Connector"

Hi, I am Kevin, and

Hi there Kevin,

The processor is usually underneath the fan of the motherboard. Just take off the fan and it will show you a flat metal which you have to loosen its hook or hinge to be able to unlock the processor. It is a small square chip where the type of processor is written on it.

Should you need assistance, please let me know your model of motherboard.
