Please check Capstan Motor working / rotating. If no, check its supply volts. If yes, then check Capstan Belt and FR Belt, should not be any cracks on it. If found cracks, please replace them.

But I can't find its manual, either, just one for the SH-8058. You might get some 3rd party support from a n appropriate forum in Tom's Hardware website. If they are both Technics they should connect. There should a pair of connector holes on the back of the turntable, most likely a pair of 'Phono' jacks. Round connectors, one marked in red and the other marked in white. It may be marked as a "AUX OUT", "PHONO OUT" or "AUDIO OUT". On the back of the System on the top section, (Marked as 'stereo sound processor''), there should be a matching pair of round connectors marked as "PHONO". Connect the turntable using a good quality phono cable matching the red to red and white to white. Personally I would recommend the gold plated type cable. They are usually reasonably cheap and easy to find. You might have to change a setting on the system where you switch between radio and CD player to hear the turntable. It is often marked as 'AUX'.

Your best bet is to get a spray that is called deoxit gold for cleaning the volume control potentiometer. You have to disassemble the case to get to the internal portion and it could also be a bad solder connection on the board the control mounts to.
