Given the relatively small cost of the repair, I'd have the servicer do it. That way if anything happens, he/she is respionsible for it. When I repair this type of speaker, I usually use an old chisel. It is sharp enough to get under the edge and strong enough to pry up the speaker. Just be careful not to nick the cabinet.

First, swap the speakers to see if it stays with the speaker or the amp channel.
Second, disregard the throretical ability of any speaker to handle any amplifier's maximum output. Amp ratings are at a certain power output with a certain amount of distortion. Turn the volume a click higher and power output might rise just a tad but distortion starts to go ballistic. Continue and you get total high current garbage. Clipping (high DC output) will kill any speaker.
Since it seems to go away, I doubt the speaker is damaged, unless torn speaker cone or burnt voice coil can self-repair in a few minutes every time.
Quad 11L distorts sound temporarily at the beginning of a session
Swap the speaker that makes the noise with one of the others. If it acts up on the new channel you know that it's got a fault on it. However if the noise appears on the new speaker the fault is in the amp (perhaps an overheating transitor).
Looking at the picture on fixya of the speakers, it seems unlikely that the speaker units would cause that fault, but the crossover could in it.
Need to replace 11L tweeter
the best solution I've found is this:
1. Remove all the tweeter screws.
2. Take a thing metal rod (a coat hanger should work) and lightly tap the tweeter through the top port in the rear until it is loosened and comes out. The tweeter is totally sealed so you probably won't damage it if you need to do this to a working tweeter.
This method also works for the woofer but you need to be very careful to tap the frame or magnet of the woofer and not the cone.

As you know that the right is good you can compare that with the left. First look around for burnt resistors or damaged parts.
The next thing to do is with an insulated tool poke the two channels to see what buzz sound each channel makes. You should quickly find the distortion section with this method.
What volume level should I
It might be easier to "skip" the subwoofer meausrement step in Audessy and tune it by ear instead. Refer to page 52 in the manual, step 6/7.
I use familiar music and test tones when I tune my sub to the mains. Generally, I set the preamp trim to -10db, the crossover as appropriate (80 or below), and then bring up the level knob on the sub to taste. Confirm phase alignment, if possible, by having someone flip the phase (if available) so the response is strongest at the main listening position.
Keep it a little "lean" at first, and over the next several hours or days, bring the preamp level up one db at a time. It takes several days of tweaking to arrive at a level that I find appropriate. Once there, I try to ignore programs with bloated bass - remember, not all recordings are created equal.
Should you fond yourself bringing the preamp level to 0 or above, kick the sub amp level knob up a couple of clicks, and back off the preamp level. It's safer to have the amp do the work, than driving too hot of a signal at the preamp level and clipping it.
How do I change to degree mode on my porpo YH-2000
- Power Off: Turn off the device.
- Jumper Configuration: Locate the jumper labeled "S16" on the device. Initially, it should be connected to pins 2 and 3.
- Power On (Alarm+All LEDs Flashing): Turn the device back on. You'll see the alarm LED and all other LEDs flashing.
- Power Off Again: Turn off the device once more.
- Jumper Adjustment: Change the jumper configuration from pins 2 and 3 to pins 1 and 2.
- Finished: Your Porpo YH-2000 is now set to the desired angular unit mode.
If you encounter any issues, you can press the reset switch on the back of the device to reinitialize it.

Claim on the warranty irrespective of how long you have had them. They charge $180 but they cost them $20 to buy from China. Package them up and send them tracked and ask them to replace the batteries.
How long is the warranty on AfterShokz?

My roadking rk4000 wont charge. I turn it off to charge it but there is no indicator light at all, any suggestions?
Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first.
But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. If these suggestions don't work, you may try the manufacturer's customer support.
Can f2100 remote work on my dishtv box?
