Why will my kindle not charge? I haven"t used itfor about 1 year and now it does not seem to be charging.

First step is to confirm you have a good charging cable. If you have another cable give it a try or plug into a charging block before assuming the problem is the device.

What do ido to make my kindleD00901 operational SCRREN showing critical battery

The nice thing is, that the Kindle/Amazon charger (Ac adapter) is clearly marked as being an Amazon/Kindle charger. So, here's what you do, perform the hard reset of the Kindle (slide and hold the power switch over to 20+seconds; count slowly; release, then connect to your Amazon/Kindle AC adapter. Then leave it connected for 30+minutes; and should the battery charge, the Kindle screen will return to normal. Alternate step to try is; if you don't have the actual Kindle AC adapter, you will need to try to charge via the USB port from your computer. The trick here is, that the Kindle takes longer to charge direct from a computer USB port, and the computer has to be left on the whole time and CANNOT go to sleep, as the power to the USB ports might be turned off. Also, it's best if you connect to a "powered" USB hub, or the USB ports found at the back of a computer tower (not the front USB ports as most of the time, the front ports do not supply enough power for Kindle charging).

Kindle fire will not load words with friends

Step one, download advanced task killer. It works great. When down loaded set the security level in the app to "low", the kill level to "aggressive", and the app kill rate to "whenever screen is off". reset your Kindle. (turn completely off, then back on) Try using your games again if that doesnt work then u might reinstall a game or two and see if that makes a difference. My fire did the same thing to me. Alot of time apps will run in the background and eat all of the RAM (memory) up and when you try to run games there isnt enough to do so. I had the same problem trying to play jetpack joy ride

The screen on my Amazon Kindle 3G is partially white and partially black with white lines running through it. It has been charged but does not respond when I turn it on. Do you think it is worth fix

It's broken :( There are companies who will replace the screen for about the same price as a brand new Kindle BASIC. personally I would suggest: - buy a new Kindle BASIC for 59gbp; or - download any of the FREE kindle apps and just finish your library reads for free whilst you look around for a replacement. If you want a TABLET rather than a eReader remember ANY tablet will download the free Kindle app so you can read your books on a Fire or a ASUS or a NEXUS or a iPad or anything really :) Good luck.

Kindle 3G will not keep a charge. Tryed turning

The only advice is that you need to replace the battery that you already have and get a new one. Replace the adaptor as Plan B. If it connects to the computer does it keep the battery charging? If it does it could mean the adaptor needs replacing and not the battery. First is battery and then adaptor.

How to delete all read books?

I've got a kindle and as far as I know you have to go to your library and delete them line by line. There is no select all facility, which would have been handy when I emptied the wifes Kindle which had 800 books on it.
