Why won't my Kindle recharge?
CAN YOU TAKE THE BATTERY OUT AND LEAVE IT ALONE FOR THE NIGHT? BEFORE YOU RE-INSTALL THE BATTERY, PLUG THE CHARGER IN.
I am unable to load new books onto my kindle
There are only three ways to load books onto your Kindle: (1) download them from Amazon via an account (using Wifi or 3G connection), (2) email them to your Kindle the unique email address for your Kindle which is assigned to you by Amazon at the time of registration, or (3) download the ebook file from a computer using the USB cable.
To email books to your Kindle or to download them via USB cable you must know the location of the ebook (which is typically a .MOBI file) and you must be computer-savvy enough to be able to either attach the ebook file to the email or to copy it to the 'document' folder of the USB connected Kindle.
My kindle 3 doesn't work anymore - the screen is
First is it fully charged?
Then try hard reset. Hold power button down, it should flash a few times and then come back up to the boy under tree wallpaper. When/IF it does let power button go. Let it finish it's updates and all.
If it really won't reset it's time to call Kindle help desk. It may need to be replaced or repaired.

We don't repair anything. We only try to help people with their questions. Not knowing where you live, not even the country, makes it even difficult to help you find a certified repair centre. But perhaps you even have to think twice before you let anything repair. When the kindles are still under warranty, no problem, but sometimes the work alone costs more then a new Kindle. The best you can do is clear with Amazon what you can do with the books you bought on a Kindle, when the device is beyond repair. when you can put them on another device, perhaps it is cheaper to buy a new.
