Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 for PC - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I get rid
First I would go to Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. See if Ask A Pro is listed somewhere. If it is uninstall it, but do not reboot right away. Then, open Windows Explorer, go to the Program Files folder. Look for a folder related to Ask A Pro. See one, delete it. Then on Desktop, go to Start/Search. Type in msconfig - click on it. A window will open, choose Startup. Uncheck anything related to Ask A Pro. Click Apply. Now, restart the computer. Good luck.

I have my microsoft windows xp original cd but i lost the key
The key # in your windows XP professional must match your actual key. The only thing I can suggest is go to download.com and type key locator or key locator for windows at least this will give you a start and maybe find something that will help.

How can I download the update software
Hi there,Yes, there is now a Service Pack 3 available.Click on your START menu, and you should see a "Windows Update" icon (within the Start Menu).Click the Windows Update icon and this will open a new browser, taking you to the Microsoft Update website. From there, you will be able to follow the instructions and the site will search your pc for the appropriate updates. Click on the 'recommended' updates, which should install SP3 for you.Good luck...Scott

Keep getting runas window
Start > run > type msconfig > click on startup tab.. Deselect the program you don't want to load. Also scroll to Services tab and stop unwanted services.. If problem still occurs then use a system utility tool like Reginout, it has the feature of service optimizer.

How can i install MS Office 2007 Enterprise?? it
If your file is corrupt your install CD/DVD is likely bad. Try it on a different computer to see if you can get past the error, or if you have a second CD/DVD drive in your computer give that at try. If that doesn't work you'll have to contact Microsoft to obtain a working installation disk. They may even give you a download link.
Of course this is all dependent on you have a legitimate software license for Office 2007 Enterprise. If your file is corrupt because you tried downloading it from the Internet then the only solution to your question is that you need to buy it.

Facebook has been blocked, but this blockage has
Hello, and good morning to you.
The simple way is to just block e-mail access all together.
I know the employees will complain, but they are there to work, not to be on social networks chatting with their friends, and playing games on your system.
I don't know how many employees we are talking about, so that is why I have given you this choice.
If we are only talking about 2-4 employees, then I would just use account management to blacklist facebook, but if you have several that are doing the circumvention, then blocking e-mail access is really the best way to stop them.
I hope this helps you out, and have a good day.

How can i free
Hey,
You got to free space on your hard drive. The virtual memory resides on your hard drive. but if the hard drive is getting full, this will reduce the virtual memory. So make home for virtual memory by free space on your hard drive.

It's always recommended to increase the size
The size of the pagin file should be twice the RAM. Increasing it won't bring you any additional total performance, however there is a slight chance it will barely decrease it. Specifically CPU, it won't change anything in your CPU performance.

Product key
You will have to call the Microsoft Product Activation Center at 888-725-1047.
You will then be asked if you have the activation wizard up on your screen - respond with "YES". Finally, you will be transferred to an activation specialist. You will have to tell them what happened to you original product key (lost it, accidentally destroyed etc.) and you will have to tell them why you need the key. (Hard drive crash or whatever). They will NOT give you a replacement key if you tell them that you need it for a second computer - your are only licensed to use the key on one computer at a time! he may ask you for numbers printed on the CD . He will then tell you what you have to do to order a replacement product key.
You can also request a replacement product key from Microsoft Sales by calling 800-642-7676 and asking to speak to tech support.
