Installation of XP MCE won't finish

You need to set the pc to boot from the install disk. Then it should detect the failed install. Either select a new location or over write or format the disk and install.
Trying to recover from a failed install is usually far more trouble than its worth. You usually end up with a unreliable install and nothing but headaches.

Live tv skips in media center

no this has no effect. Usually jittery audio is hard drive or resource related as it is writing data and outputting data at the same time.
one reolution may be to scale down the quality of the recording to see if that helps.
Lastly check for updated audio/capture card drivers

I recently Upgraded from Windows XP to windows 7

Hi
Win 7 is extremely touchy about network drivers. I didn't see your computer model listed but you'll need to log onto your computer manufacturers support page and download the Win 7 drivers for the network. Since your internet connection doesn't work right now I'd suggest another machine, if you have one or go to your local library with a Flash Drive and download the drivers to that. Good Luck

I want to fix a video problem XP media center

nah it doesnt work like that sadly.

most video problems are caused by the graphics adaptor driver.

click start
right click computer
click properties
click hardware tab
then device manager

everything in yellow means its a driver problem

it could also be you have the wrong driver installed or the settings are messed up. YOu have to reinstall the driver. use the cd that came with your graphics card or the one that came with your mainboard if you dont have a graphics card.

If you lost your cd the drivers can be downloaded from the manufactures web site.
