Right click on the Tool Bar (any where below the URL window) and find Favorites on the popup-menu and select it/click on it and it will automatically check Favorites. Once that's done Favorites will show on your Tool Bar.

Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
2. Type the following command(sfc /scannow), and then press ENTER.

The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

If this could not resolve the issue, Please perform system restore: Follow the steps below, Click on start- all programs- accessories- system tools- system restore.
On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.

On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in Figure below, and then click Next.

On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.

Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.

System Restore can't be opened unless the system is bootable into one of these modes.

I don't believe that Home Basic has an FTP server component built-in. Try a free alternative, such as NcFTP server.

You have to Download the driver for 64 Bit from lenovo site. As you did not mention what the exact model of you PC is, i can not find it for you. Please ( click here ) to go to the download site for lenovo.

Move your ram into different slots, put different ram in slot 2 or 3, sounds like bad ram, 32 bit apps access ram VERY diferently that 64 bit apps.

The problem seems to be conflict in the .dll file "NPSWF32.dll" and it's association with the Windows Registry. The registry key of the flash player for Mozilla Firefox is damaged/corrupted. So you have to uninstall Flash Player: (Follow both the steps.)
Step-1: First uninstall through ADD/REMOVE Programs from controls panel.
Step-2: Then download the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller from here. Now close both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Then run the uninstaller tool. After uninstalling, restart your PC. Now open the firefox and go to http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/ to install the latest version flash player.
Remember: Whenever you are installing or uninstalling flash player you must log on to windows as Administrator to perform and troubleshoot this type of issue.

It could be, have you tried restoring your computer to an earlier date when you know that it was working okay. If you haven't loaded anything on your computer after this problem occured(programmes specifically), then do a system restore and see if it helps. It will restore your system files back to an earlier date. Go to Start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore.
Choose a date when you know that it was working alright then click on restore. The computer will restore your files to your chosen date and then it will reboot your comptuer.
