use windows 7 or 8 bootable dvd boot from it and ur win 98 will be uninstalled or if u have installed win 7 0r 8 or any other os then u can un install with the help of win 98 boot from it and use fdisk command

Possible paper weight. Sounds like a hard ware issue and laptops and parts are proprietary in nature - parts expensive and labor is another nasty factor. Cheaper to get a new one rather than repair.

Typically messages will be stuck in the outbox because they are unable to send. Usually because of large file attachments or server availability. If you are using outlook, try taking outlook offline then delete the messages. The option should be under the file menu and say something like 'work offline'. Once you delete the messages, don't forget to put yourself back online!
