Hi, all electronic rotary laser levelers have an electronic calibration that you can do yourself, you just need to know the correct algorithm to control the buttons. The buttons may be slightly different, but the principle is the same, I'm sure you can do it, there's nothing complicated there.

try new test leads first. even if the unit is miscalibrated, you should get the same measurements from the same components/circuits. you'll need to send the unit to a calibration center, or the manufacturer, to get it zeroed out, if you still need to afrer getting new test leads

It's not clear what your question is.

If you select current measuring (A or mA) and have the test lead connected to V then you get this alarm. Same thing if you select Voltage measuring and the lead is connected to a current terminal. Check the connections and the selector setting.

If so, how? open the cover on the back of the device. this is done by squeezing the cover of the battery sector slightly. then remove the old batteries and replace the new ones (I assume you have the AAA) and put the new ones in keeping with the polarity for the device to work properly and then close the battery compartment cover in reverse order
