Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the notification area.
Click Yes, let's activate Windows over the Internet now.
Click Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement, click Back, and then click Next.

The wizard establishes a connection with an activation server, and then processes the activation request.
When activation is completed and you receive the following message, click OK:

Only one user account is connecting to the

This problem is usually due to parental controls or user application privileges/ network privileges.
The account that can connect to the internet should be the "administrator". In "Control Panel" access "user accounts" and check the privileges. Enable full (or the ones you want) access. "Parental controls" will block internet connections, check to make sure this is disabled or the correct level is enabled.

I need an installer for windows xp home edition

Unfortunately, there would be no public download for this, because of the product key. The only way to get this key is to buy Windows XP. If you have another computer with Windows XP, see if you can call the company that made the computer and may either send you one free or for around $15. (depending on your reason for needing it)

Since i had my laptop reformatted it can no longer

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop. Most likely you are missing drivers. When you format a computer, you need to put everything back on it. If you have the original driver disks that came with it, install those. If not, you can probably find them on Dell, Hp, or whatever your manufacturer's site is.

I installed Windows XP a second time on my hard

If you just formatted the partition with the second XP installation on there, it should remove the boot menu where you choose which installation to go to.
Here are a few options for you to choose from.
  • Option One: Open Start-Run and enter msconfig Click the tab "BOOT.INI" The contents of the boot.ini file are shown and a number of configuration settings are available. Under Operating systems, delete the one you don't want. Be careful not to delete the wrong one.
  • Option Two: Right-click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties" from the context menu. The System Properties dialog box will open. In the section "Startup and Recovery" click the button "Settings". To delete the unwanted operating system from the boot display menu, use the "Edit" button on the right of the entry.
  • Option Three: If the OS is Windows XP Professional, it has a command line utility for manipulating boot.ini called bootcfg.exe.
Click start, type CMD, click OK and you are presented with the command prompt. Type bootcfg /? It will list the description and parameter list. Once again, you can delete the unwanted OS.
  • Option Four: Boot to the XP install disk and open up the command prompt utility of the disk. Enter "fixmbr" and press enter. Restart the computer and remove the disk.

I got problem with formating

Hi
Your HDD is maybe damaged and you won't be abble to install a new os on it .
Otherwise , if you really can't format it , try extracting it from your desktop and connecting it to a healthy computer .
Reinstall it back in your desktop afterwards and launch the W XP install disc .

Shutdown, bypass,or find the admin pass for blue coat k9

UNinstall it: click on windows START (lower left corner-windows icon)
go to control panel
select add or remove programs
(let the list build for a second or two)
select the program you want to uninstall

may need to restart.

On a side note, AVG antivirus is top rated free a/v software, which I recommend; easier to manage.

I cant open add or remove

Click START...RUN...then type appwiz.cpl and click OK. If you have no luck you need to backup your registry and then edit it: Click START...RUN and then type regedit. Click OK.

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Uninstall and look in the righthand pane for the below value:

NoAddRemovePrograms

If it is present, doubleclick on it and change the value data to 0 and reboot.

If it is not present, try creating it. Go to Edit > New > DWORD value and name it
NoAddRemovePrograms

When you have created it, doubleclick on it and set the value data to 0 and reboot.

OFTEN WISH TO DELETE INFO HEADERS

If I understand your question, you just want to remove the header of an email, such as the From/To/Subject information before forwarding it to something else. If that is correct, then it is as simple as clicking the Forward button, then you can delete any text that is in that email, including the headers.

The mouse screws-up in normal mode after a little

The mouse is not the problem. The problem is with your mouse driver. It might be damaged. Try deleting the mouse driver and reinstalling it. Assuming you have Windows XP. Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>Mice and other pointing devices.
Delete all pointing devices, close everything, restart the computer and the system will detect the mouse, follow on screen instructions and install a new mouse driver. That will fix the problem.
