Need repair

You should go to a camera repair shop in your nearest city.

I suggest that you purchase another camera, because the price of the repair will be beyond the cost to replace the camera. You might be able to buy a second hand G500 on ebay.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE G500 5 MP Digital Camera

your lens mechanism is stuck up! try pulling the lens with slight force, if you are lucky the culprit that is blocking the mechanism will get loose. If you are not lucky theres no way you can remove or fix the problem than sending it to the authorized service center. =-( All digital cameras has a a life expectancy of around three years, or 5000 shots. Here in the Philippines, we use conversion method, since all cameras today are made of plastics, we convert those easy to break parts with metal.

Dimage g500 not saving pictures to memory stick

Here is the link to the manual if you need it; http://ca.konicaminolta.com/support/manuals/digital_cameras/dimage-g/dimage_g500/D_G500_E.pdf page 105 describes how to set the memory priority between the stick and the camera. If this doesn't help then try formatting the stick (page 99) If still no joy then I suspect the memory stick is faulty - see if you can borrow one and try it. Hope this helps - please post again if not :)

How do I clear pictures off the memory card?

The best way to remove all pictures from the memory card is to format it. This wipes all data from the card and prepares it for further use.Without knowing the model of your K-M camera I can't give you the exact procedure for formatting the card, but there should be a command somewhere in the menu system, probably under "Setup".

Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 working fine, but Windows 11 wont recognise it. Any ideas please?

If your Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 camera is working fine but is not being recognized by Windows 11, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the USB cable: Make sure that the USB cable you are using is properly connected to both the camera and the computer. Try using a different USB cable to see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the USB port: Try connecting the camera to a different USB port on your computer to see if the port is the issue. Some USB ports may not have enough power to detect the camera.
  3. Install the camera driver: If the camera did not come with a driver disc, try downloading and installing the driver from the manufacturer's website. Make sure to download the correct driver for your camera model and operating system.
  4. Restart the computer: Sometimes, restarting the computer can help to resolve issues with USB devices not being recognized.
  5. Try a different computer: If the above steps do not work, try connecting the camera to a different computer to see if the issue is with the camera or the computer.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there may be a hardware problem with the camera. In that case, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further assistance.

My Konica Minolta dimage A200 has recently started draining the battery very fast. Bought new batteries but the problem persists. The camera is now almost unusable.

A circuit or wire short will need to be diagnosed with a meter or send out for repair

I have a damaged LCD

Consider the following: Minolta closed their camera division in 2004, and sold the operation to Sony. That's also why the later Minolta lenses are compatible with Sony DSLRs (Minolta AF mount).
However, this meant that Minolta cameras were also automatically rendered obsolete, with no new spares being manufactured / supplied. (I know, I still own some Minolta cameras and have been down this road)
Now, I'm sure you can see how slim the chances are of getting any spares for the camera in question, especially a humble Point and Shoot.

It's time to aquire something newer (imho).
