The light meter is not

Your camera uses 4x AAA 1.5v alkaline manganese batteries (definitely NOT lithium, your camera doesn't respond well to rechargeables of any kind either). If you look at the side of the right hand grip you'll see a large screw. Use a coin to turn it counter clockwise a quarter turn and the battery compartment will then open.

It seems that you'll find a user manual to be of use. Click here for part one and here for part two; both are free downloads in .pdf format.

I didnt use all of

Nothing. You pressed the rewind button and the film rewound: it didn't do so "on its own", it just did what you told it to.

Get it developed and put another film in and don't make the same mistake twice.

You can buy a film leader retriever which fishes out the end of the film from the canister enabling you to reload it, but you need to remember exactly which frame you were at. To get it back to the correct position you then set the camera to fully manual and using the fastest shutter speed and smallest aperture, leave the lens cap on and cover the viewfinder and away from bright light you fire the shutter until the counter reads one lower than you were last at (if your frame counter counts down to zero shots remaining). If the subsequent shots don't register exactly with the old shots, the automatic film processing machinery will likely cut into some frames when cutting the negs into strips. You'll also find that a leader retriever costs more than another roll of film and can take some skill to use.

In summary, your Minolta 7000 is behaving exactly as designed and the cheapest fix is to just drop in a new roll of film.

Film is not winding on

Possible that the loading motor is having friction to load fully or that the film reel is too tight.
You can check the test without the film in place but by activation of the door switch.
If the reel pressure is good ,then the film reel might be badd or if the hand pressure stops the reel then the motor might be weak.
Hope the battery is charged. if not used recently let it run winding up to free.

I lost the lens cap for my wide angle lens on my Maxxum 7000

I don't know which wideangle lens you have, but there most likely is a number giving the the size of the thread in front of the lens. If there isn't, you can measure it with a ruler marked in millimeters. Either way, simply order a lens cap of that size online or buy it at a good camera store. If you can't find the size, simply take the lens with you to a camera store and find a lens cap that fits. You don't need to find a specific brand, about the only thing that matters is the size. Unless, that is, you care a whole lot about the styling...

Lens is not opening

Take the lens out and look the bottom side of the lens. There is a lever that operates the aperture leaves. If the aperture leaves does not move or moving slow, you have oils on the aperture leaves which need cleaning.
If the lens is good, the camera's lever that move;s this lens' lever mechanism had gone bad. Take out the lens and watch the aperture control lever moves when you trip the shutter. If it is moving, the problem is with the lens.

Anyone make a adapter to be full digital?

Believe it or not Minolta Maxxum 7000 had a optional digital back but the resolution was very low. I think it was something like 640 by 480 pixels.

How do you re-load it?

Open the back with the side latch, pull the header of your film out of the roll, insert that into the slot on the roller spindle far enough for it to wrap once, close the back of the camera, and then power it up. It will start to wind to the first photo segment by itself. If it doesn;t the film was not inserted far enough into the spindle.

Your camera is now about a quarter of a century old so model-specific spare parts like the LCD and rubber trim panels are as rare as fresh **** ****. The situation is worsened as Minolta no longer exist. Unless you look for another example for spares then you'll just have to live with the faults, but the discoloured rubber parts (I imagine they've gone from near black to a variable milky appearance) can be improved by using automotive refinishing products. Some exterior vinyl and rubber products work well as do the kind of tyre blacking polishes which dry completely without rubbing off easily. If you look for a replacement/spares donor then check out your local FreeCycle and Freegle groups (the latter is UK only). Many old 35mm SLR's, especially the later highly electronic auto everything models like yours, are virtually worthless so can often be obtained for free these days. I hope that you have found my reply to be of use; please take a moment to rate my answer.

I have had my Minolta 7000 since 1987, always

Your camera will be twenty-three years old this year, it's outlived it's design life by around sixteen years.

If you're lucky, it just needs a thorough CLA service (Clean, Lubricate, Adjust) but the big question is the AF system: like ALL older AF systems, they're complex and spares are as rare as fresh dodo eggs. SLR';s should ideally be CLA'd every couple of years or so (sooner if heavily used), but in reality most never get done. As a result the lubricants applied in the factory eventually dry out and gum up the works and it's possible that this is all that's happened to your camera.

By all means consider getting a CLA done and also a one off foam light seal replacement for many more years of use, but be prepared to have to revert to good old fashioned manual focussing. The light seals are a worthwhile job as they'll be turning to corrosive sticky goo by now and modern materials don't degrade in that fashion.

Yours is a truly great classic camera and I sincerely hope that you mange to restore it to a usable condition. If you're in the UK then I highly recommend Colchester Camera Repair; although they're an authorised Canon service centre they should have the skills and experience to work on your camera as well.

Replaced the 4 AAA batteries still does not work

There may be a button battery on the bottom side of the camera. Look for a circle about 3/4 of an inch in diameter with a screwslot in the middle. This battery number is "usually" CR2032.

My Minolta 7000 makes funny sounds

Probly not. I suspect old, dried up lubricant gumming things up. causes resistance, motors stress out and it shuts off.

You can send it in for repair and Clean/ Lube/ Adjust. or get another on Ebay. Any Minolta Maxxum will use the same lenses.

I have a Maxxum 7000i 35mm camera and in the

Konica lenses do not fit Minolta cameras. I think you messed something up.

Minolta MC and MD lenses worked on the older manual focus Minolta bodies. They will also work on the Phoenix and Seagull clones of the old Minolta bodies.

The Konica lens should only ever be mounted on a Konica camera.

Your 7000i is now a Minolta paperweight. You need to send your 7000i for repair or replace it.

You could also look on Ebay for another Maxxum body to use your lenses designed for the Minolta A mount. As a rule, camera lenses are not interchangeable. You can use any Maxxum lens on any Maxxum body as a rule, but Minolta changed their flash shoe after the original 7000 series. Flashes that work with your 7000i will work with any subsequent Maxxum.
