NEC MT800 Projector with Vertical Lines in picture
The ghosting problem is a combination of both the lcds and driver boards in which case neither need to be truely replaced.. They use a specific voltage to transmit data to the lcds.. Each lcd is different and the driver board is programmed by the factory for the EE v.com setting. Unfortunatly with nec, they do not offer a service mode to go in and adjust the ee settings to correct the electrical convergance. So the only way to fix the problem is to replace the lcd with a newer one who wasnt worn out from long term heat.
Double vision-without viewing under the influence
Their are adjustments on the main video board of the projector for alignment of the three LCD screens, But these should only be made by a qualified professional as they can make it worse if done wrong.

The others, however, have lost portions or all of their blue channels. TI's theory is that the shorter wavelength and higher energy of the blue light apparently causes the organic polarizing material in the LCD to get lightburn much faster. TI showed us a damaged LCD panel that controlled blue light transmission, and there was a large spot in the center that was apparently burned out..."
Projectors
yes i have the MT 800 projector my self you can use Composit connection using the yellow, white, and red RCA wires, or you can use the S-video connector and the white and red audio connections. Or if your skybox has a dvi output you can use a DVI to VGA cable to connect that as well. which ever you use you need to select the same source in the menu of the projector that you are using. S-video, Composit, or RGB (for VGA)

they have a fuse on the power board inside the projector itself, But normally the fuse does not go bad unless their is a dead short in the unit.
Projector vertical running lines
Hi there
This is definatelly a interference from a power cable. If any of your signal cables in the ceiling is closer that 5cm to one of those , you will get interference.
The Company that did the installation should know this and I would suggest you call them and tell them that they should sort it out. They should either move the cables or insulate them by means of conduit.

First I would suggest cleaning the filter on the bottom of the unit where the fan inlet is. Over heating can cause many issues with the video controller in the projector, also shortens the life span of the bulb, always let the unit cool down when turning it off (let the fan run when you turn the power of by top button, never unplug and use the power switch on back. until the fan shuts off.)

NEC projector M322X indicates light but cannot turn on
Based on the information provided, it is possible that there may be an issue with the projector's power button or internal components. It is recommended to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the power source: Ensure that the projector is properly plugged into a working power outlet and that the outlet itself is functioning correctly.
2. Reset the projector: Some projectors have a reset button or option in the settings menu. Try resetting the projector to see if this resolves the issue.
3. Check for internal issues: If the above steps do not work, there may be an issue with the projector's internal components. It is recommended to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.
In summary, if a NEC projector indicates light when plugged into a power source but does not turn on when the power button is pressed, it may be due to issues with the power source, internal components, or other factors. Troubleshooting steps such as checking the power source and resetting the projector may help resolve the issue, but professional assistance may be required if these steps do not work.
