Film will not advance on monolta 7000
You may have reached the end of the film canister or the canister may be jammed. Try rewinding your film and removing the canister and then see if you can advance the camera. If you still cannot advance the camera, you most likely have a problem with the internal gears and will need to have the camera serviced.
Hope that helps,

Chances are the spring that holds it in place or the catch is broken. If you don't see it loose inside the camera you'll need to send it in for repair to some repair shop as Minolta doesn't repair them any longer.
Film advance lever wont move
Do you have a film in the camera? If so is it all exposed? Best thing to do is press the film rewind button and try the lever at the same time - this will eliminate stuck film issues as it removes film tension from the system. If this does not solve the issue then you need someone to have a closer look.

Replace the batteries, clean the battery compartment and capo, and then try and fire the camera. Camera will not work without batteries.

Normally when this happens it is because something in the advance mechanism has either broken or come loose. This will require disassembly to diagnose and repair
and can be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be done by a qualified service technician.

Minolta x9 shutter does not
First off, is there film in the camera? If so, it sounds like it's at the end of the roll. Rewind the film, stroke the wind lever over to finish the shutter cocking cycle and that should solve the problem.
If there is NOT film in the camera, open the camera back and look at the shutter curtains, if they appear to be damaged, or out of alignment that's the problem. If nothing apppears to be wrong there, it's an internal issue and you'll need to consult a technician.
Anything other than it being at the end of a roll of film will require a technician to properly diagnose. Also, use the battery check function to see if the camera is getting power from the battery. If not, use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts inside the battery compartment and try again - if still nohing it's again internal.
The camera can likely be repaired, but cost will depend on the exact issue. Find a reputable local shop, or I'd recomment KEH (KEH.com) if you have to go with an online dealer.

Other than that, your camera has become a spare parts donor. Any kind of pro repair is not cost effective and spare parts are no longer obtainable.
