you won't find schematics for them. infocus had their boards made by someone else who now no longer makes boards. it's usually the caps drying out that causes power problems.

You should check any loose cable connections to your projector. I'd also check the signal type coming into the projector. Is it HD? Is it digital or analog? Is it from a computer? I would need you to be more specific. -GWOOD

Depending upon the way in which the lamp finally smoked, it is not unusual for the feeder fuse to blow. Replace the fuse and try the projector. As long as you haev a new lamp, it should work OK.

I can possibly save you from having to call someone in.
2 things that you should check before you have someone called in to look at your projector.
1. Color correct in the system menus, you can individually adjust the color levels in this menu. Increasing and decreasing the values can help relieve the yellowness presented.
2. If at all possible, buy a replacement bulb for your projector and if it doesn't work, simply return it.

I have the same problem. The lamp appears OK. but she isn't coming on. It seems like a problem to start the lamp.

yes you can, but not "through" your tv, unless your tv had component video outputs. you should run a component cable from your cable box directly to your projector, or do what i did and buy a multimedia reciever/surround sound system and run it to that then split it from that to your tv and your projector.

use a vacuum cleaner to **** the dust out of the filter unit on the right side rear end of the projector (right side up directions).

Then reset the filter timer.
MENU, DEFAULT, CLEAR FILTER USEAGE

You need to use a phillips screwdriver to first snap off the cover on the bottom and then undo the 2 screws holding it in. The manual is here ( page 53 ): http://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_manual_2522.pdf
