NEC HT1100 Multimedia Projector Questions & Answers
DVI Digital out of range
It probably means the frequency is to high. Whether Windows, Macintosh, or Linux, you will need to lower your frequency. 60hz is the best for LCD, DLP, & Plasma. The resolution will be better set at 1024x768 as well.
Temperature error
Remve the lid and check that all fans are plugged in and can turn freely, if not a fan may need to be replaced, also check all other plugs which may connect to a temperature sensor, ensure that the projector is free from dust it can easily be cleaned with compressed air, replace the cover and power up, if the probelm presists there is likely to be a problem with either the lamp or the logic board

How function the SC trigger?
The sc trigger outputs 12volts on the tip of the mini stereo plug when the projector comes on.
When it shuts down the voltage goes low.
Hi,
Dried out capacitors that conduct electricity very poorly when cool will
begin to work normally for a time when over heated, lenses and display components that are warped
may also regain a workable shape when hot. It's very common for integrated circuits, etc. damaged by heat or electrical surge to show symptoms cool that don't manifest when the device gets hot. But they are indicators of an imminent failure.
Most likely the 3LCD component that generates the picture or the integrated electronics themselves have been damaged. This can happen over time from heat for example if the air filter doesn't get changed or from a power surge.
Shutdown & error led blinking 2 times
Shut off your projector by swith on the back near the AV inputs, leave it off for about five minutes. Then switch it back on, manually press the power button, let it start for about 5-10 seconds then continue to hold power button until picture appears. It worked for me, good luck to all.
Whats wrong with it
There are a few things that could cause your problem.
First, cheaper cables could cause interference and distortion. Second, you could be using too long a cable run. Third, check your keystone correction. This is particularly important when running higher resolutions. You may have to actually move your projector and reset your keystone correction to fix the issue. I had a similar problem with mine. No issues after I repostioned my screen on the wall and reset keystone, etc. This was while using comp. cable. Now I'm having an issue with my DVI-D...go figure.
Hope this helps.
Nec picture turns megenta
I'm gonna take an educated guess and say this is a DLP projector. Sounds like the DLP wheel is slowing down causing blurriness and Magenta when the wheel stops. It probably needs a new color wheel. Call NEC and see if they have a bulletin or notice on this issue. If you're lucky, you might get a free new color wheel or replacement projector from them.
NEC projector M322X indicates light but cannot turn on
Based on the information provided, it is possible that there may be an issue with the projector's power button or internal components. It is recommended to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the power source: Ensure that the projector is properly plugged into a working power outlet and that the outlet itself is functioning correctly.
2. Reset the projector: Some projectors have a reset button or option in the settings menu. Try resetting the projector to see if this resolves the issue.
3. Check for internal issues: If the above steps do not work, there may be an issue with the projector's internal components. It is recommended to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.
In summary, if a NEC projector indicates light when plugged into a power source but does not turn on when the power button is pressed, it may be due to issues with the power source, internal components, or other factors. Troubleshooting steps such as checking the power source and resetting the projector may help resolve the issue, but professional assistance may be required if these steps do not work.
