Hi,

I noticed you have a DLP projector. I have a Optoma EzPro 756 which is also a DLP projector.
I notice white "blobs" on the screen when there is a black screen. It is caused by dust getting into the optical block not the lense. If you are comfortable with opening up the projector, you could gently blow out the optical area with compressed air, GENTLY so you don't dislodge any components, and see if that helps. I seems to be a common problem with DLP projectors a few years old. If there are sharp focused dots on the screen then most likely, it could be some pixels starting to go bad like dead pixels on a computer screen. That problem is pretty much irreversible.

check your lens in your projector..otherwise if there is a problem in your image in your pc..better check first if there is no problema in your image were it came from..better ask for assistance to the tech.support of acer..

Do you know how many hours of use are reported on the lamp?

Many times these projectors have circuitry to shutdown when they suspect the lamp is near the end of life. Lamp hours vary and usually will go up to and even beyond expectancy, but there is occasions you can receive a bad lam and have it blow in a matter of hours...not common but it does occur.

I had the same problem with my acer x112 , and after checking everything i found out that the problem was the Color Wheel (not necessarily being broken) , it looked new but it was the problem , hope this helps

if this is a recent computer it might not have a cd rom drive if it is a laptop / notebook . Suggest downloading the whatever printer make and model with whatever operating system driver software. try searching {model number} {operatng system} driver download. otherwise you might be able to use a external usb cd rom drive

it means the projector locks on this source type and there is no such type of input signal found, so you need to try new input source type . means : if you use for example VGA, try to use other input type such DVI , HDMI
