If you are in the US and have had your phone contract for more than 90 days. Call your provider, tell them that you are travelling overseas and that you want them to unlock your phone.

That wont do very much for you though. Unlike GSM, CDMA does not use a portable chip. You would have to find a new provider who would allow you to use an old phone with their service. To my knowledge, I dont know of any CDMA provider that will do that since they cant guarantee service on your unlocked phone

hi, i can help you to do this ,you have 2 options, first option-you can do it directly from your mobile phone that means go to menu page then go to settings then take memory card and click option button you can see memory card click memory card format button and proceed .second option you can do it with the help of computer by using pc data cable
firstly you install pc suit software and connect to the phone and format it, computer format method is more faster and easier than phone formating method OR you can format your entire phone by using a code *#7370# and the phone will automatically format
