My tv doesnt turn on. however, when i try to press

Yes, I had this problem last year and had searched the web. My Samsung had only a high voltage of 380 votes DC at the capacitor. Samsung has 3 boards, inputs (control), video and power boards which has 120 volts enter leading to a fuse, then a small high voltage transformer, with a capacitor - 100 uf rated at 450 volts. Found two capacitors - 150 uf and 220 uf rated at only 400 volts and connected them in parallel and measured the voltage showing 391 volts. The TV worked again. Good lucky

How to change source resolution on a phillips tv

Without a remote control, you can't select its inputs. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites. http://homenol.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

Philips 32PFL3505D/F7 32-Inch LCD HDTV keeps turning off when I turn it on

You have a shorted Diode in the power supply board. The power supply board has a 110 volt AC cord attached to it. Locate diode D621. It will be near the red, black and white wires attached to the inverter board. Snip this diode on one end and lift it just to clear the board. You may cut the other end and remove (don't have to). Do not try to tear the diode out or you will destroy the board. The TV will operate fine without this diode. Replace your ac fuse (4 AMP, GMA fast blow fuse ). You just repaired your TV. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV.

Where is My Philips 32pfl3505d f7 LCD TV fuses

I assume you are referring to the ac fuse, it is located on the power supply board. Just follow the ac power cord and it should lead you to it. If your set doesn't have a built in power cord, the fuse will be next to the power cord connector.

It turns on shows the philips symbol the shuts off

There should be any short circuited component/s inside the circuit board. If the TV turns OFF after turns ON, it should really show blinking codes, that is, its standby/power LED will blink to certain times. These are called blinking codes, and you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV by these blinking codes. But, to Philips TVs, these blinks cannot be directly counted. There is a special way to count it, which in turn give you either a single digit, or two digit fault codes. You should find out the faulty circuit stage by this fault code. If you're sound in electronics, and wish to get more details, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.
