Sounds like a dry joint or a capacitor has broken down, you will need to take back off and check, just remember there is 240volts in the PSU of the system.

You have a bad panel. Will be cheaper to buy a new TV than to replace panel.

if it has a headphone jack it could cause this--the jack when inserted cuts off the speakers to engage a headphone--try inserting a jack when it does this and wiggle it a little--jack socket has leaf contacts that can be out of positionIf tapping it could also be a bad solder connection somewhere.

check the screen aspect. The picture has different setting that you can use. You might have your tv on a strech screen.
