Hs-u54 vcr has snow on video

Head amplifier circuit/module could be the problem in your case. You could also check the power supply to see if any electrolytic caps are out of tolerance or have changed value and replace them if necessary. ~ Here are a couple of examples of similar VCR issues I've had; some years ago, I had a Panasonic NV-F70A, with snowy video playback, and, after a lot of investigation and exhaustive testing it turned out to be the video head amplifier module that was the problem (not the heads themselves which were new) - replacing the plug-in aluminium-cased module fixed it and restored the video picture as well as the stereo audio output and flying head erase. Power supply was OK and the whole VCR good to go. ~ With another Panasonic (NV-J11A), it was several out of tolerance electrolytic capacitors in the power supply (another metal-cased plug-in module) that caused the snow on screen, erratic tape counter, and slightly wobbly audio. Head amp was OK in this one. I replaced every electrolytic in the PSU - and after plugging the module back in and turning the VCR on, the playback picture and tape counter were soon restored to normal - after some soak-testing, the machine went home. You may not need to do anything to or with your machine's power supply at all but it doesn't hurt to check anyway so that you can rule it out as a possible problem source.

Mitsubishi HS-U540 VHS VCR How

The RED is Right Speaker the WHITE is Left Speaker and the YELLOW is for Video. They connect with RCA Cables to the same color coded inputs on yout TV.You may find it easlier to just use a CoAxial Cable; Use a CoAxial for the CABLE IN to the Cable Box then 1 CoAxial from the Cable Box OUT to the VCR IN then use 1 OUT from VCR to TV IN. That is much easlier then using RCA Cables.

Mitsubishi U54 VCR Recording Speed

If you have a remote, there should be a button labeled "SP/EP" or "RECORDING SPEED." Otherwise, I might try looking in the VCR's main menu.

Onscreen display is in spanish

Do you have a menu or setup button on the VCR's remote? If you press that, you'll have to look in the menu until you find the language selection. Oh, wait. If it's in Spanish, you might need a Spanish to English dictionary, too.
Well, good luck, and just ask if you need more help. I hope I gave you enough info, but the menus vary with every VCR, so I can't be too much more specific.

Input selection

Many of the late VCRs have very limited funtion from the VCR buttons. Power, eject, play, perhaps channel selection, that is about it for most. I assume you don't have the manual? Looked on Mitsubishi website, didn't list a manual for your specific model, perhaps another model would be close enough. http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/j/i/18344/OwnersGuides.html?tid=5&f1=2005&s=3 Replacement remotes here: http://www.vcrremotecontrols.com/Mfrs/Mitsubishi/MitsubishiVcr.htm

Mitsubishi DLP 73 inch TV WD-73738 is blinking 6 red and 1 yellow, replaced the color wheel, and still having the same problem?

The lamp is not enabled possibly due to the colour wheel motor not turning. Any broken glass jamming it? Or the lamp ballast has failed due to an old/worn lamp.

I have a mitsubishi dlp tv model wd 60738 and when i turn it on the power button blinks for a second and then it stops but no picture and after while turns off

Most likely you need to replace the projection bulb. You can find them online. DLP sets are famous - or infamous - for burning out the bulbs/lamps.

Mitsubishi VCR HS-U580 guide rollers not moving forward all the way. Cassette would not load. Also noticed drum not spinning when powered on

Your Mitsubishi VCR HS-U580 looks to have a problem with the information rollers and drum. Here are some things to check: Look for something blocking the VCR or cassette compartment that would possibly be stopping the guide rollers. Check the belt that drives the VCR mechanism. If it is loose or broken, you may also need to substitute it. Clean the video heads using a head-cleaning cassette to make certain they're not dirty. See if the drum motor is working. If it is not spinning, there may be an issue with the motor. If the trouble persists, it's an exact idea to get assistance from a professional technician or contact Mitsubishi's purchaser support for advice. Be cautious when dealing with electronic devices, and if you are not certain what to do, it's great to get assistance from an expert.

Where could I download a copy of a service manual for mitsubishi hs-u580 vcr?

i think finding a downloadable service manual for your Mitsubishi HS-U580 VCR might take some searching, but here are a few options: Check the official Mitsubishi website's support section. They might offer downloadable manuals for older models. Many online appliance parts stores like RepairClinic or AppliancePartsPros stock service manuals for various brands and models. Search for your specific VCR model to see if they have it available.Websites like ManualsLib or iFixit sometimes host user-uploaded service manuals. While the availability and quality can vary, it's worth checking. If online options fail, consider purchasing a physical copy of the service manual from online marketplaces like eBay or Amazon. Remember, some websites might charge a fee for downloading manuals. Always be cautious of suspicious websites and download from reputable sources.
