I have a Mitsubishi HS_U550 VHS recorder/player. The Power Button doesn't turn it on when plugged in to active outlet. No power up sound or display. Any suggestions to fix? Robin

Is yours fitted with a fuse in the wall plug? Replace that and see if that fixes the issue. Often the checking the simple stuff first saves you a lot of money.

My 65 Mitsubishi DLP TV model # WD 60736 has a dark picture. I have changed the bulb twice and maxed the brightness and contrast controls and the picture is sill dark. How can I correct the problem?

Hello There!!!!!! Well this is gonna take some work... First thing to start with is... When you replace the bulb/s -does the bulb actually illuminate? If you shine a very bright light into the surface of the screen can you see a faint image of whats on the set? Do you get sound? If the bulb is illuminating, is it blowing soon after? Did the set return to normal operation after replacing the bulb the first time? Side Note-Never touch a high power bulb glass enclosure because you can leave oils and moister that lesson the life of the bulb or make it more prone to blowing. I have no facts to support this note beside my own experiences but this is a known "thing". Questions? Just ask. Mr.Mike

I have a mitsubishi 73inch and it's blinking green & shut off by itself

Several problems may cause your Mitsubishi television to shut off by itself. ... Plug the television in, replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker as needed. If the light is blinking green, a power surge or unusual digital signal was detected by the television. To prevent damage, the television shut itself off.

I have a Mitsubishi wd 60735 and I took my tv out of storage and I let it warm up before use. Problem I am having is when I plug it in I'm not getting no lights at all on the front like there is no power and all my wall outlets work fine. Then a few hours later I hit the reset button and I got some lights on the front and the next morning nothing again?

Storage might have more than a little to do with the problem, especially if it has been subjected to freezing temperatures and/or high humidity, also some types of (used) capacitor do not take kindly to being "rested". Your tv seems to be a high value rather specialised type that would be best, after re-reading the instruction manual, entrusted to a repair shop; preferably a Mitsubishi approved repairer.

The picture on my Mitsubishi WS-73411 TV goes off after an hour or so. I checked the error code on the flashing LED's and I get a 23. Any solutions?

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size
