sounds like you missed a pulley or belt guide and the belt fell off

It sounds like the tractor is hydro, if so you need to find the release lever to allow it to move in neutral. Most hydros have the lever under the seat or at the back of the tractor just behind the back wheels.if and when you find it, it will need to be slid across and locked in to the operset position or pulled out, depending on what type it is.Hope this helpsRegards Micky

look for a broken t shaped part where the shaft and gear meet

in the center of the unit there is a veryable pulley that gets stuck and that controls the speeds

Lowes or Menards sell troybuilt they may be able too hook you right up.
