Sylvania TV - volumn is so low we must turn it all

The Dish receiver may have a volume function that is causing the problem. Use the Dish remote to increase the volume and see what happens.

Convergence problem & some...

I don't know where you live but Dave at Sy Electronics (480-917-8889) in Arizona knows how to fix Mitsubishi Tv's. If you have been told by your local TV repail place that parts are no longer available don't believe them. Call every repair place in town until you find a comptent and knowledgeable tech. That is what I did. Roger

Power lost

yes there are 3 fuses all located on the main board which is the board on the right where the power cord is entering the set one fuse is near the cord the other ones are in the center of the board.

Mitsubishi VZ5 Chassis VS45603, 50603, 60603 & 50604 ill not power up

The mitsubishi VZ5 chassis that will not power up often is the result of a leaky diode raising the voltage on IC700. A quick check is to check pin 4 of IC 700 for
0 Volts DC. If pin 4 has any voltage replace Diode 980 on the main PCB it is leaky and the set should power up. This tip relates to all VZ5 chassis mitsubishi's
