Try Going To The Mitsubishi Web Site. Downloading The Mitsubishi Service Manuals If You Don't Already Have It. It Will recommend The parts You Need To ordering. Circuit board photos are also shown which provide a visual reference during the repair process.
If you decide to have a service technician do the repair, insist that the "DM" module is removed from the TV and ONLY the four 1000uF, 16V Capacitors (Caps) located on the DM Module are replaced. MOST techincians will INSIST on replacing the entire DM Module and not simply the capacitors. The cost is about $200 for a technician to replace the capacitors and $1000 for replacement of the DM Module. As you will read below, doing the repair yourself will cost less than $4.00 for the 4 Caps.
Sir replace the lamp of your unit, the lamp is getting weaker it must be replace in order to return normal function of your tv feel free to send feed back good day and best regards.
Thats usually caused by failed capacitors on the DM and the Power boards. You can get the V26 Chassis DLP DM/Power repair kit which contains the caps for both boards and the CD with instructions. Its available from www.tvrepairworld.com under the Mitsubishi repair kits category.
just remove the rear cover and then you can slide the lamp leads back into their slot that is at the rear of the lamp cartridge area. Its very common for them to get pushed back inside the lamp compartment but removing the rear cover will allow you to slide them back into the compartment.
hi
if the green light continous blinking it needs a perform system reset.you check also the ballast board for lamp if their is a shorted component part it will cause a shut down it will be either the clicking sound that you hear which is coming from the ballast board. hope this may help thanks good luck.
If it is a flashing yellow lamp led light, check the lamp cover. Make sure that it is properly seated and the screws are fasten securely. Lamp cover will engage to micro-switch and make it in closed position. If the lamp cover is not properly seat in, this switch will be in open position and will make that kind of symptoms. Double check the lamp cover.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

t is more than likely your television has had a lamp failure. Part number 915P020010 is the right part for your tv. Remove the lamp, your instruction book will tell you where it's located. Check the anode of the lamp, if fracture find a lamp on ebay vendors. Try niosales.com They are my trusted vendor for new lamps.
Thats caused by the 7 capacitors on the DM power board. They discharge when the power is lost and then cannot recharge when power is restored and the indicator light will blink non stop indicating the DM has not completed the boot sequence. Replace the DM caps. The WS48511 - WS65511 DM repair kit is the correct repair kit for your model. You can get the repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com
You have bad switches on the front panel. Press them 50+ times to release them. Failing this you will have to replace them. You can disconnect the front panel to confirm this.
What is the color of the blinking timer light? Red/Yellow/ Green? I have a detailed error code chart without using the Device, Menu buttons so if you can provide this info I will see if the error code has been mentioned in the chart
