Dust on the mirrors was only a minor problem, and one that I could have dealt with. Unfortunately the entire system shut down because of lamp and circuitry issues. The cost to repair would have been 2/3 the cost of a nice new tv, and I would have been left with a giant piece of garbage that was destined for more problems and a lifetime of expensive nearly annual lamp replacements. We got rid of it shortly after my first post. Biggest mistake ever.

DI YOU CHECK THE LAMP AT ALL IT MAY BE BAD FOR THE FANS ARE NOT WORKING

you try to set the color tones,,when the last time you have it clean. by cleaning the crt,s and the morr in side the set ?

if you not hit the info key and it not work then your eprom chip is bad..

the lamp eng it bad you need to replace the dmd or the hole thing the eng, whear the lamp in stall at and i done a lot of them to and that cost a lot 1000.00 plus the core you need to send back to mitsubishi you may whant to call them to see if it under wearenty if not that will till you how much it cost to have it replace..it a big job it chang them to about 2hours to replace them the lamp eng ..good luck i hope this help you out...me my self don,t like a dlp at all the lamp cost to much to replace for lasting just a year. lamp should last about 2 years but i not seen a lamp last that long at all..the samsung is just as bad... will good luck

I had another problem kinda the same and emailed ctechnicians.com and they gave the fix.
