Is the light blinking or staying solid as this can indicate an error code with the tv.

on that model its possible for the lamp sockets from the ballast get pushed back inside the tv. Remove the bulb and verify that the sockets are firmly attached to the rear wall of the lamp compartment.

I believe the format, or FMT board is going bad. this is not a do it yourselfer type repair, unless you have extensive electronics background - I have one myself with the same problem. I am waiting to get a new FMT board for mine.

Thats a common symptom of when the power board capacitors fail. It will make the lamp light turn red and a self diagnosis 34 for lamp abnormality. Usually install the power board repair kit will solve that issue. Heres a link to the power board repair kit for your model. The kit contains the capacitors and detailed instructions.

This model series had a odd problem that caused this. It was the Hoizonal wire connctors for the yoke. If my memory serves me right, the Yoke wire harness went from Yoke to Yoke and plugged in at the casing of each yoke. What I found is the solder connection on the small board of each Yoke was intermitent. Please be careful if you choose to tackle this. It is in a HV Area.

Befor thinking the worst, it may just be a tactile switch, probly the vol. down button switch on the front panel of the set. When you unplug the set and replug it again, does the green LED stop blinking after 20 sec. or so?
If the Green LED does not stop blinking you are talking a major repais on the Main Chasi Assy.

Its most likely the thermal fuse which is causing the problem. It gets up to operating temp then shuts down.

in these issue you can see vertical lines due to filter capacitors bad in the secondary power supply. 100micfarad/j35volts, 220microfarad/25volts.

I have a 52inch mitsubishi dlp model ws-52725,I turn on the tv and the green light is plinking I have this befor and had to replace the module at a coat of 600.00 that was 2 years ago .I have done all the necessary steps,light still plinking.what do I have to do now ?My last mitsubishi I had for 15 years with no problem.Its mitsubishi going down hill. you need the repair kit for the DM you can get the kit at the following link whic contains the capacitors and step by step instructions on how to do the repair

the most probable cause are the capacitors have failed on the terminal 1 and terminal 2 PWBs or the signal PWB

Ha ha ha I see well I can confirm the television set can not delay the sound without it being none teresstial transmission .. in other words if the transmission is out of sync then his set will be and so Will 19 million others receiving the same channel so it would not be a set fault but a transmission one . And any delay from a DVD or video would be the fault of the DVD or video Not the TV ... it is Impossible that's why I said In 23 years never heard of it .lol Regards Vortash . Sounds to me that the menu is in convergence adjustment mode. Try the menu key on the remote and follow the prompts.

You most likely have a fault in the defelection circuitry that is causing this. A repair is needed, none-the-less....accordianman

you are absolutely correct on this issue.the DM  board needs to be replaced to solved this issue.but its also the twin problem when the picture is showing soft pinkisnh line running on the screen.its the problem of lamp getting weak and DM  board turns faulty.but in your case you have replaced the lamp so just DM board needs replacement
