looking at the metal chassis block the DM power board is the second board in from the right side. The FMT is first followed by the DM next then the signal is third. Across the front is the Power pwb, and the Terminal 1 and 2 pwbs are in the small section behind the Inputs.

My Mitsubishi WD-62725 projection tv is blinking yellow and wont turn on why?

Check air filter on side, clean and make sure the door is seated right, if not then you will need to have tv serviced, probably internal fan issue.

That model will usually have 8 caps that require replacement on the Power board and also 4 capacitors on the DM board which will usually cause the Non stop blinking light symptom.

My timer light has constantly

Hi,

The caused of this symptoms is not a faulty lamp but the DM power board gone to malfunction due to out-of-regulation condition. The faulty parts there are the electrolytic capacitors. You have to replaced all electrolytic capacitors on that board to resolve the issue.

For more info regarding electrolytic capacitor, watch the video below.

I own a Mitsubishi WD62725.

Hi,
If this is a fast green blinks (doesn't stop) then this is an indication of DM boot failure again. To confirm where the fault came from, lets access the "Error Code Operational Check". Follow the steps below.
Lets check if we can access the "Error Code Operational Check" by following the steps below.
Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down" and not manually switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to "12" No Error.
Press the front panel "DEVICE" and "MENU" buttons at the same time, and hold for 5 seconds to activate the Error Code Operational Check. The LED will then flash denoting a two digit Code.
Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.
• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.
• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.
• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.
Example: If the Error Code is "32", the LED will flash three times, pause, and then flash two times.
• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.
Let me know what is the error code to determine and confirm if the fault was came from the DMD module.

My 2005 WD62725 just started getting wavy lines on

Projection TV sets have two very common problems listed below.

Problem #1) Convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

PICTURE HAS BECOME VERY DARK

I think you have one of the models that have two mirrors inside: not Mitsubishi's best idea.

Most have just the large mirror in the back but I think this model has a very small mirror at the bottom (odd shape about 4x6 inches) behind the front screen which faces upwards and gets dirty from the fans inside the set.

It is amazing how much it can dim the picture; Caution, if yours has it the only way to get at it is to remove the entire front screen assembly---a phone call to Mitsubishi will confirm if your model has the two mirrors----the big one never needs cleaning(almost never and is special).

If you find your model has two mirrors either consider having a pro come out and do it (15 min job) or You Tube it to see if instructions there.

look before you leap as this is usually a two person job.

If you have questions let me know.

I have seen this before in these sets
