I have a Mitsubishi WS-65615 projection tv that will only work with being hooked up to Antenna 1 main input. Anytime you access the device menu from either the remote or front panel the picture gets a

It sounds like you have a short circuit close to your switch somewhere. It also might be a bad capacitor (small one) in the auxilary circuit.. when it is activated it drives eithe video or audio driver to max causing your TV watchdog circuit to clamp. I can not see your pictures very clearly, but look at all the electrolytic capacitors (round "can" looking parts) to see if any are "bulging" on the ends on them (this means they are shorted out inside from drying out or physical damaged). Also look to see if any parts are shorting out inside. The pictures that I can see look like your TV is pretty clean, so I suppose that you have cleaned it with air or a smal brush. My money would be on either bad caps or shorted out component by touching another one.. check it out!

My rca 27" flatscreen crt tv model # tr29m62 power light just blinks but it does not come on

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Green power light blinking all the time on TV

After changing a defective capacitor, my TV still would not power up. After using a solution I found on this site, I held the power and volume up button down on the TV itself for several seconds, the TV powered up normally. I did notice that you had to do this while the timer light was flashing. Doing so after it went out was not effective. I initially only replaced one capacitor which was noticeably defective, and the flashing green timer light eventually returned. I will be replacing all 7 capacitors and resetting the TV. As mentioned above, the capacitors may look good but in fact may be defective. These are high temp caps which breakdown under a load but function normally when cold. Several people have mentioned replacing the capacitors didn't fix the problem. It appears that you must replace and reset using this method to repair some of these TVs.

MY TV IS NOT COMEING ON IT IS MITSUBISHI

This is NOT a solution but a suggestion:

So you may know what is wrong, if power light (green) comes on and then goes off:

PRESS AND HOLD"device" and "menu" buttons on front of tv for at least 5 seconds and thenrelease both together.

Watch for power light to blink in a sequence:

1 blink-then 2 blinks-------no error

2 blink-then 1 blink-------X-ray protection

2 blink-then 2 blink-------SHORT PROTECTION*******

2 blink-then 3 blink---------deflection circuit problem

2 blink-then 4 blink---------vertical circuit problem

******2, then 2 is most common---usually means one of the fuses that protectthe Convergence IC or IC's is blown---set will detect no voltage to convergenceIC and shut down.

SET WILL REPEAT BLINK ERROR CODE UP TO 5 TIMES ANDTHEN TO GET IT TO REPEAT MORE YOUHAVE TO UNPLUG SET AND TRY TO TURN ON AGAIN.

IF IT IS 2 AND THEN 2---USUALLY
CONVERGENCE CIRCUIT PROBLEM

let me know what you find--hope that you find 2 blinks, a pause and twoblinks--this is the most common and easiest to fix.

Telivision dont want to power up.

You are experiencing the Mitsubishi Green Blinking Light of Death which is fixable.

All you need to do is replace the four 1000uF/16 volt power supply capacitors in the "DM module" (one of the two onboard microprocessors) which are inadequate for this tv. These capacitors are apparently undersized, in that they will eventually fail (usually after about 3 years) if and inevitably when there are voltage fluctuations in the circuit above 16 volts. It is then recommended to install either 1000uF/25 volt or 1000uF/35 volt capacitors as replacements, so that they will be more than ample to handle any voltage spikes that will occur.

If you are good with soldering and know how to work with electronics then this will be an easy fix otherwise I suggest getting someone to replace the capacitors that knows how to deal with them without getting an electrical shock. You can get the capacitors at any electronics store such as Radio Shack.

Good luck and please let me know if you have any further questions.

thanks

I have a Mitsu Medallion

The reason there is no picture is (95%, certainty) the loss of the high voltage. The high voltage is what produces the energy for the raster lines upon which the video is modulated.

Therefore, the video and deflection circuits may be working just fine but you cannot see because there is no high voltage to the picture tube.

Now, it is possible, also that power to the picture tube filaments has been lost, or that the power supply to the biasing voltages is defective or that the picture tube sockets are corroded, but the overwhelming cause among TV sets is loss of high voltage.

Refurbishing the high voltage will probably cost $250 or from anywhere you go. Even if you do it yourself and buy the parts wholesale you will not save a tremendous amount. So, unless you are very handy and know how to troubleshoot, solder, repair and test, I think you are better off finding a good shop for the repair.

Good luck!

This would appear there is no incoming signal. Check your antenna or cable connection is connected securely & then try to retune the TV once more, you should pick up a picture. If not, if you have a DVD connected via a scart, check if you receive the DVD picture. If this is the case then there will be a problem within the tuner stage, possibly a replacement tuner will be required

Power light flashes.

The dm board is located inside the vertical metal case on the left side when viewing the tv2.gif from the back side.

Have you tried disconnecting the front panel on the tv? There are 2 plugs that go into the board and sometimes there is a faulty switch on there which causes your problem.

I tried the solution SD Tech offered about ht

Try the 2nd solution SD Tech gave you...
"If disconnecting the keyboard does not restore the set to operation---the receiver is bad---there are 4 or more caps and some pico fuses that can fail in that unit."
If you know how to solder I would totally suggest that you repair the set yourself. Don't get in over your head, but you will save yourself a ton of money and gain somewhat of an understanding of how tvs operate.
The green light blinks while the DM board initializes the tv. If the DM board can't initialize it keeps blinking and this is usually caused by blown/bulging capacitors on the Dm board.
