You will loose all data you have put on the computer. When you turn it on right at the beginning there is a black screen and there are a few f key options.
They will flash up with the option when you turned it on, before windows kicks in. Take a look at the user manual to find out for sure.
Press the correct f key before windows starts up, then go through the menus in setup (it will look all crappy and dos like) and find restore factory settings (or something like that) and click yes.
It's a great feature, and will completely kill any virus or **** problems you have had and couldn't get rid of.

try to boot it to safemode. If it boots, then you can use safemode to repair the system. Need more information on what is happening when you are trying to boot (messages / etc)

function key does not need a driver. Drivers come in built in the windows. I believe your function key is defective or you have software issue. Check if other keys are working or your other keys are not functioning. In that case you have to change this key. Check at ebay. People sell single keys.

What you could do is take the keyboard off with some screws at the back, and look for the rom bios battery (looks like you car remote battery). Take that off for 30 seconds, put it back in, and put the keyboard back in. Try to boot the system, you might be ok, if not there's nothing I know of could fix it.

On start up press f8 repeatedly and go to "safe Mode". Do a system restore. If all else fails, then you need a full format.

Rigth top side of your keyboard , accidentally you pressed a key function that changed the layout ,look for i and change it

Check the disk space left on your hard drive ... most times it doesn't have enough free space for windows to run efficiently.try removing programs you don't use and put any pics or videos you have on there to a usb drive .

Press the arrow key on the left that is pointing upwards.
