Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

TV turns on but flashes 'No Signal'. What can I do to get a signal?
Well, it depends on what you're doing. If you want to watch tv then you will have to plugin your cables from your cable box or from your home's wall ports. If you're looking to just get anything to play like a xbox or apple tv then simply plug the necessary cables in and then go to the correct input on your television (if it has that option) using the "input"button on your tv or remote. Hopefully that helps.

Relays click. That's about it
try unhooking the wires coming off the power board you should be able to unhook every thing except the switch wire and se plug if the green lights stay on and the red don't come on then you have something loading down your power supply if it still shuts down you need a new power supply

I have a Plasma, SVA 42
Hello,
A common problem for these is bad capacitors in the power supply, Remove the back from your TV and look at the power supply on the left hand side.
You will see roughly around 9 x capacitors that are bulged / domed shaped on top usually these are valued at 3300uf 10V any that have bulged or leaked a brown like substance should be changed.
This will cure the problem as they overheat being sat next to a heatsink that gets very hot!
Try and change them for the same 3300uf but a higher voltage.
Hope this helps

SVA HD flat screen will not power on but power
Hi ladymacmel
To answer your question;
The problem you have is most likely caused by bad capacitors in the power supply circuit (very common nowadays).
You`ll need to replace those capacitors before you can get the set going again.
If you are handy with a soldering iron, then let me know and i`ll help you identify and replace them.
Also the model# of your tv would be handy for components identification.
Best regard

TV won't come on
The power board is gone. I have one and it did the same thing. I found a site with the board for about $149.00 but it was not worth it. The brand new board only lasted 30 days and it burnt out also. It seems that power supply board which is a different board and smaller board probably is bad as well and it burned up the new main power board I put in. This TV is not worth fixing. Sorry, it really sucks. Samsung supplies this board to SVA but the board is actually built by Gateway. Deal with this for the past 2 years and no one will take responsibility for it. Dead end with every effort. There were a group of us that was actually trying to file a class action class suit against SVA who is really not willing to help anyone but even that is not worth it. They could replace the board but the new one will burn out shortly after once it has already burnt the first board. Just a badly built TV. I am in the process of purchasing a new tv and I will never buy a Samsung product again becuase of this even though gateway built it for them. Sony or Sharp is my next option.
Good luck to you.

Keeps going off every 5 minutes or so. Tried rebooking & it corrects for a while HELP!
check all the connections first and primarily to the source of what your watching ex. the connection to a DVD player, nd see if any of the connections are loose, if thats not it then check the power source and cable to the TV plug in. if possible try plugging it in to another outlet and see if that may help the problem, if the problem still occurs then it could be an internal problem which will result in either professional repair or replacement of the TV
