This is under control panel and the USB connections settings. Every computer has different options after this level so you need to read carefully what to disable. If you disable this you might not be able to (easily) move files between your computer and the HTC in future. Proceed with caution.

Pull up the office word. Paste on there.

Email it to your email. Pull up your email. And just go on from there with copy and paste.

Connect the HTC Desire to your PC via the USB cable, so that you can get to the .VCF card that was just created. Log into your gmail account and click on the contacts menu choice on the left side. Go to Settings. Tap on Display, then tap on Sleep. Select a screen timeout duration.

Maybe your USB cable is damaged. Try to use WiFi connection, download the app (PS PC suite WiFi explorer) in Google play then connect your laptop and HTC phone to the same WiFi router or use tethering from your mobile phone. Once you take the call hit the button that lowers the volume. It should lower to ur desired setting. You could also do this from the settings. Got to ur settings. Go to volume or sound. Then go to call volume.this will set it as ur desired item call volume.

It is not possible to trace your cell phone, even if you hadsetup a tracker program on the phone, it can only give the location of yourcell phone in the coverage area where the cell phone transmitter tower islocated.

you have to sync, your pc to phone, by bluetooth or data cable, then you should be good to go....

You can try doing a factory reset/hard reset of your phone to resolve the problem. You don't have to worry about the data and files in your phone's microSD card since that will not be deleted. But it will delete all your data and customized settings and remove all applications that you installed. If you want, do a backup of any data or files that you want to keep before proceeding with the hard reset.


There are two ways to do the hard reset: via settings and using phone buttons.


Performing a factory reset via settings

1. From the Home screen, press MENU and then tap Settings.


2.Scroll down the screen and then tap Privacy > Factory data reset.


3.On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone, and then tap Erase everything.


Performing a factory reset using phone buttons (If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.)


1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.


2.Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button..

3.Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.

4.Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.

It should be Volume Down and power. Hold both untill screen shot is breifly displayed on screen.

Open the phone back up and unplug all the FLEX cables from the system board then plug all the FLEX cables back in, be sure that the flex cables are aligned correctly and full plugged in. Then try the phone again, I know there has been 4 times where I replaced an LCD and upon turning it on had nothing but black screen. Did what I said above and 3 times the LCD worked perfectly(must have been a FLEX cable not seated all the way) and the 4th time it was a bad LCD screen.
