Why Behringer C1U not recognized ?

Did you install the mic's drivers before plugging the mic in? Have you tried it on 32bit operating systems other than Win 7? I don't think it will be an audio driver problem ie: asio4all. But because the OS doesn't recognise the driver automatically it might indicate where the problem lies. I am not familiar with this particular mic ( I use AKG cs1000s with Zoom R16 audio interface ) but I know there can be issues with some 64 bit systems and certain audio hardware. Nothing in the Behringer forums?

I Purchased behringer c1 u microphone and I want to record my singing with karoke..Problem is that when I connect laptop with speakers my singing volume is coming louder but sound of background music

You need a mixer. Connect the microphone to the mixer and also the background music. That way you have separate control of volume for the voice and the music. The background noise can come from different sources. One of them is from the laptop itself, if the laptop is noisy to begin with.

I have a Behringer Mic

How to Operate a Behringer C-1U

The Behringer C-1U is a USB condenser mic for recording individual instruments. A condenser microphone is a mic that uses vibrations produced by sound to change the distance of internal plates that produce signal. Condenser mics typically require an extra change, known as phantom power, to operate. Since the C-1U is USB powered, phantom power is not needed. The Behringer C-1U has a frequency response that favors sounds around the 10KHz range. This heightens the clarity of recorded signals due to the microphone's treble boost.

Things You'll Need:

* Computer with USB 2.0 port
* USB cable
* Recording software

Instructions

Turn on the computer. When the operating system loads, connect the microphone.

Install any necessary drivers for the C-1U. This will happen automatically when the device is connected.

Select the Behringer C-1U as an input source in any desired audio software. In Windows, click the "Volume" icon in the task bar to open the mixer. Select the C-1U as the primary input. On Macs, use the "Audio/MIDI Setup" in the "System Preferences" menu to select the C-1U as the primary input

Note: make sure you activate the phantom power on the mic. That's the only way to power up the microphone.

Have a nice day.

Behringer PMP3000 audio mixer: the effects are stuck on 90. Cannot select any other effect program.

When a heavy item is dropped onto the top of a control, it can break internally. I would check the encoder switch is working correctly, if not, replace if needed.

Please help! Behringer KX1200 master volume stops past 4 and no lines work just fx return

Also how do I reconnect the fan? It sounds like you may have a broken potentiometer (aka volume knob) for the master volume control. If that is the case, you would need to replace it with a new one (or take it to an electronics technician to diagnose and repair). Regarding the fan disconnection, this likely isn't causing your issue but you would still want to reconnect it as it keeps your amplifier cool while in use. Reconnecting is fairly straightforward - all fans have 2 or 3 wires that connect to corresponding terminals on the amp. Just make sure you don't mix up which wire is positive and negative, and make sure they are connected firmly and securely.

Behringer EP1500 amp does not produce full loudnes

Hi, Please test the loudness of your device with a third-party decibel meter. This will give you a clear measure of whether the loudness of your device is changing with increase in volume. It could be that your surroundings are absorbing the increased sound. Thank you.

How to get 5.1 sound. to an external audio card?

The channels are setup according to the model. If you have stereo (2 channel L/R) then you cannot get 5 channels out of it. To do this you need a card that is 5.1. If your card IS 5.1, then i would enable the channels in the audio mixer for the card.

Hi! I have a Behringer B1800d PRO active subwoofer which is acting up. At first it just stopped putting out any sound at all except for a “click” or a “pop” every 5 sec. interval or so. But lately it doesn’t even turn on anymore. When it has been off for a while and you turn it on, the blue power LED is lighted up for like half a second then it completely dies again. I know the description may be a bit vague but I don’t really know how to explain it. What is the best way to trouble shoot this? Also in case that I can’t fix it, would it be possible to turn in the amplifier ONLY to a repair shop, without the actual subwoofer housing and the element? Thanks a lot!

The issue is the power supply inside. There are most likely bad capacitors inside. You can tell in SOME instances by looking at them. They look like miniature can. If they are bulging on the tops or sides or they are leaking a brown substance out of the bottom, they have failed. Please note that they can also fail and show no signs of failure. For those cases you need to get a meter to test them. They are not cheap meters. If you cannot solder or perform other electronic repair procedures, it would be better to send it out for repairs.

I have a Behringer pmp1280s. It was working fine 12 months ago. I got it out again today. Everything lights up fuses are fine. level lights work. No sound out of speaker outputs

I doubt that there is a problem with the unit. Usually people have problems with their cables or the speakon plugs themselves. Unscrew the connector that is used on both ends and double-check their connections. Sometimes the screws that hold the heavy gauge wire in place, come loose. Also make sure that they are in the right places. Sometimes you have 4 connections. Make sure they are in +1 and -1 connections. Every once in a while you'll find a quirk unit that requires you to use +2 and -2 instead. Look at the back of the amp. It should tell you which numbers it uses. Make sure you check the same thing on the speaker end also. If you have a meter or continuity checker, use it to make sure it's wired right. This is a professional piece of equipment. They don't go bad easily. Make sure you tighten those connections real good and that you pay close attention to the engraved numbers on the speakon connectors. (That is if they are quality connectors. The cheap ones may NOT tell you the numbering or the phase, ((+ or -)). Hint: The negative one is always closest to the outside of the plug. You'll have to study it to understand that. The screw terminals on the inside have 'walls' on both sides of it. Those are the + connections. Also, check the switches on the front. You may have one of the switches in the wrong position or setting. Also if you're using phantom powered mics, you have to turn the phantom power on or else they will not work. Hope this helps.
