Well, are you downloading a crack/torrent or buying it? If you buy it and it does not work i reccomend you either call the company or demand a refund at the place you bought it at. But if you download it be careful if its from pirate bay or something like that because some hackers give you a fake version and then use your computer the hack. Also if you are not sure if it will work you should not buy from steam and amazon because if you are buying download it may not work and you cannot get a refund. So Either buy the disc or torrent it. I hope I helped and i love sims as well :)

Hi. I encountered the same problem when I install worlds adventures to my desktop. What solved my problem is to change the value of SKU file. To be able to change the value of that file follow these directions:
1. Go to RUN
2. Type in regedit
3. Open hkey local machine and then software
3. then sims and then sims 3
4. then you will find the SKU file try changing the value from 1 to 7 check if it should match your base game

I lost my regestration code for The Sims 3 game
Hi. If you have lost your booklet where the registration code is available you can still get the game on EA download manager. If you are able to register your game in EA you just have to sign in to your account then download the game. I hope this solves your problem.
