Has somebody spilled liquid into the unit? Are you using XLR to XLR mic cables? If using condenser mics you need Phantom power on else NOT.
If the faders are noisy, use CRC226 in them. You can get that at Home Depot in the electrical dept.
NEVER use contact cleaner such as Deox.it or BlueShower in faders... it wrecks them
I have a problem with

On page 11 is the power supply. The TIP31 (T1) is the regulator for the +15 volt rail. The TIP31 is connected as a Darlington with a BC846 (shown on the schematic as "846"). This is a surface mounted tiny transistor.
NOTE: This regulator is NOT a voltage regulator but is actually an ACTIVE ripple filter consisting of the 2.2K resistor (R6) bypassed by the capacitor C4 (100mfd/25v). R8 (120 ohm) serves as a parasitic suppressor and base surge current limiter for the BC846 transistor (T4).

Hi, It is not on selector knob, but it could be on capacitor(s). As stabilizer capacitor has role to maintenance the good power feeds to system. Please check it then.

How do I attach power
There are a number of configurations for a mixer like the 1832, the most common are PA system and Recording system.
There are Main output jacks which carry the mix as summed in the main faders. These in a PA system would feed the pa amplifiers which drive the house speaker system for the audience. These connectors are XLR 3 pin type on the rear, intended for professional pa amplifiers which use balanced +4dbv line input level. Amplifier which have 3 pin XLR connectors for input signals can accept that high level signal. For home style HiFi amplifiers, the signal level is nominally -10DBv and balanced or unbalanced signal lines with 1/4in diameter phone plugs which are connected to the mixer by way of a second set of Main output connectors which are 1/4in phone jacks. Use whichever amplifier input level your amp has.
If you are not using it as a main PA house mixer, but using it for recording, the main output connectors go to a 2 channel recorder or computer sound card recorder.
The power amp and your monitor speakers are connected to the connectors labeled "Control Room" (CTRL Rm). These output are useful for recording because the signal through the mixer can be monitored from several buses, Solo, main mix, selected by buttons provided. The buttons only affect the signal heard through the control room monitors, and not the main output which only sees the main mix so selecting "solo" does not interrupt the signal going to the recorder while the engineer in the control can be checking other signal paths through the board.
My macbook pro will not identify the usb mixer.
hello,
I have a behringer 1832. the issue I have is that the right channel is out all together. both subs work. it is only the right main. do these things have some sort of mono switch that I don't know about?
I cant get any output
Make sure Sonar is set to use the Xenyx for the clock in the audio options pull down menu. It often defaults to your PC soundboard.
How do i set a behringa 1832 fx mixer
I have a behringer 1832fx mixer and have the manual that illustrates how to set up for a band and/or other instruments etc! is this is what your asking for?

I have purchased a beheringer 1832fx usb mixer and
The main mix controls ALL outputs simultaneously.
The mic channels are controlled individually by the sliders.
It sounds like you are on the verge of feedback where the mics are picking up the PA speakers.
Make sure you have loaded the support SW and make sure you have disabled ECHO as the mics may be looping back through the computer causing the rattle.
I got a behringer 1832fx mixer and I'm trying to
Hello,
You can retictfy this , all you need is to study the mixer carefully.
There is a button for the head phone below the effect display, you need to activate it by pressing the button this will make the head phone to work.
Also there is volume for the head phone, it is written PHONES, you need to turn the knob to increase the volume output from the mixer....
Thanks for asking a question from fixya and take care....
Can't send instruments (live or recordings) to the
Anything you hear in the mains SHOULD come out the "tape out" jacks UNLESS you have the "tape to mains" button pressed in. (That is for driving the mains from tape or CD) Remember these are line level signals.
Not sure about Cybasis? Is that Cubase software? If this is through a USB port, Cubase, if that is what you have, has to be set up to receive the signals onto tracks. There are a lot of things to NOT get set right with this program... Always use a set of headphones to verify that signals are coming through the mixer.
