How do I replace the fuel bulb?

Homelite and Ryobi appear to be made by the same manufacturer. Home Depot now carries a "Fuel System Tune-Up Kit, AC04122," that includes 2 replacement fuel lines and a replacement Primer Bulb for 25cc, 30cc, and 26cc 2-cycle engines. Cost is $7 +.

Will not start

On this model the carburateur will sometimes come loose, in which case the engine will lose compression. Check that the carb is tightly mounted.Otherwise, the most common reason for non-starting is that you are using either old or or an inexact gas/ 2 cycle engine oil mixture. Remix a new batch using exactly one gallon gas and a measured on gallon mix of 2 cycle engine oil. Drain the blower's existing gas into a jar and replace it. You can use the jar of mixed oil and gas to light a campfire or bonfire, or just let it evaporate.

Change starter rope

If you can get the housing off where the pull string is then you should see the spool where the string was attached. There shouldbe a screw or small nut holding the spool on. First cut a piece of rope the same lenghth & diameter as the original I use nylon cause it holds up well to the oil and gas. Second cut off the remaining old rope, and with a screwdriver or socket unwind the spool until it is at it's maximum. Third, rethread the new rope through the same holes and slowly let the tention off the socket or screwdriver untiul the new rope is rewound on the spool. Attach the old handle and that should do it.Hope this helps
